To be or not to be...

I have a problem and I will be very glad to here your opinion. I study psychology and next year I am graduating. I dream about becoming a clinical psychologist, but the problem is that I am not sure that I will find a job because my country doesn't provide a future in the psychology field...I don't want to live and work away from home, but if I want to make my dream come true I have to. The other option is to give up and find a job that I won't like just to get paid for it. What should I do I don't want to leave my friends and family I love them too much but I have got to a point where I have to make a choice. I guess that it is true what my mother always used to say "Ther is never a full happiness"

The same problm 1 of my friend has.he has also completd his psychology digree and now no way to do somthing.i will suggest u tht as u love ur work and no work will make u happy other then ur own work.ur country has no scope in it so i would say u tht why not u start ur own clinic?it would be a new way of work and service in ur country.u have to hard work u an me know but it will also make u happy as u will be with ur family and ur loved 1.

There will be a point in our life that we need to make decisions. It may be difficult for you to decide if you are going to leave your country for a better future but I guess you have to. Anyway, it will be your choice I just hope that you will have a very good choice. Good luck!

I think you should always do what your heart tells you and what you are good at. If there isn't much psychologists in your country then wouldn't that be a better demand on you, the only one? I think there's a bigger chance for you to make a break through. Good luck.

Hi miryana,
Well if you really want to pursue your dream then go for it. Surely along the way you will meet new friends and you can always communicate with your family at home. I strongly believe that what the mind conceives the body will achieve. If you will always think of a certain thing it will likely happen. So think positive and everything will fall into the right places. Good luck.

You have a tough decision to make its not easy i reckon but then again life itself is not easy well you might get all of the advice that you want but in the end its up to you to decide your future and is up to you only and i hope its the best for you.Cheers and good luck

If you try to get a job in that field there is a chance that you won't get a job, however if you don't try at all then you can be absolutely be certain that you won't be able to get a job at all. Sometimes we have to take a little bit of a risk in order to follow our dreams, and try to make sure that we will be happy in the future. We can never be sure of what the future will hold, but we can try our best to succeed and hope for a bit of luck along the way. Psychology degrees can get you jobs in many different fields, so there is no need to worry about being unemployed as I can assure you that this will not be the case.
