I personally am in a bad financial situation, most of my family is too.I also know people in the same negative situation as well as seeing people like this as well everyday..The USA is in bad shape with the economy. Many people say that it is President Obama's fault, but just saying,he inherited this mess. And as he said and as myself and many other people know it cannot be repaired overnight.Well, that is besides the point. There are other countries also in the same shape,so why are some people putting the blame on President Obama or someone else? I hear and have said myself, that it is former President George W. Bush's fault. Some people say,no it's congress....it started back when Clinton was in office. And yes, there are some things that went wrong in this country, like no cap on housing prices,taxes....I am not getting in to that now. But,gas prices, are not just a problem in the USA,therefore it has obviously started elsewhere. We(USA)are not the only country in economic trouble! So,how can it be just a specific USA person's (president, former president)or USA group's(congress, etc.)fault?

I think they have to be a dork to want to get into politics anywhere anymore. If they are good folks when they go in more than likely they aren't going to stay that way.

The problem with the economy is that nobody(including our elected leaders) knows what all the government regulations are. For example the EPA can grant you approval for a project to drill for oil. You spend $40 million to develop and getting ready to drill and the EPA clean air division decides that you might (repeat) MIGHT cause air problems in a village miles away so no permit to operate. In California you can get a permit to build and build your multiple million dollar house. Once the house is built you have to apply for a certificate of Occupancy. This group decides that the house is built on a hill side and might be subject to mud slides so you can build the house but you can't live in it. You are a business person and have money to expand what do you do? Do you invest your money in hiring new people only to find out that you will have to pay higher insurance costs because the government mandated more coverage. Or maybe you build you building and get everything in and then OSHA comes in to inspect and you find that the mirrors in the bathrooms are too small (the plans were approved bu the building commission). That is the power of the regulators they don't have to tell you ahead of time what is required because that is someone else's department. Don't forget to figure in taxes. If you expand your business and make more money only to find it eaten up in taxes so what is the incentive to expand and hire more people?

No, he did not inherit the mess he has put us into. If you added up one million dollars every day from Christ's birth it would not equal the money Obama has spent. Yes, I blame him. Absolutely. And he wants to spend more and more until he has totally ruined America. He refuses to even consider what needs to be done to CUT SPENDING. Yes, he's at fault. And we need to make sure he does not get another 4 years.

No,this country was already in a large financial mess when Obama was voted in.And how is the USA going to cut the prices of gas, clothing, etc. that are priced by the nations that they come from? What spending that I am getting really upset with is when it is to illegals.

Though I don't live in your country i am very much well aware of the economic crises people are going through and i'm not blaming your president for it. The situation is almost similar to our country where the blame is put on the President when he's been serving our country only for a year. Others say he's incapable because he's the youngest and he's not married. Worst, they say he's crazy but i don't believe in those crap. I agree with you that a single person couldn't change a country's problem overnight. Unless the citizen would cooperate and stop complaining. LIke your President, I am also putting the blame to the former President who allowed the corruption to blossom everywhere in our country.

We should not blame the presidents of any country for our bad financial situation. We should try to do something to improve our life instead of blaming those people in the government.

Exactly! Get on with what needs to be done. What I do not understand is that we did with out social security raises, had to put stuff in storage, move into a single room for my teenage daughter and I to share for the past 2 years, not enough room for company.Cannot afford a car.Cannot use our belongings.Only been on one vacation in my whole life.My daughter has never been on one. Yet,the rich people can keep their homes, belongings with them have room to have company, drive nice cars and go on vacations.
