Can't stop receiving email from my friend's discussions...

I tried to find where I can select the email and notifications preferences but couldn't find this one. I'm new in mylot, and added few friends I want to follow their discussions, but I do it when I log into my Mylot account, and at this moment, I keep receiving email from mylot notifying me that one of my friends started a discussion. It is helpful but I would like to see them when I check my account, don't need to get the email. Do you know where I can change this? Thanks for you help. Cheers. =) D
