Its about a week, I was active here on Mylot. The reason behind is my little angel started her schooling last week. I never had worry until the day, when she happily dressed having her tiny disney bag and water bottle. She happily went and sat in the car, but when my hubby reached the kindergarten, she started to scream....mummmiee..., she doesnot want to leave us and go school. We convinced her snd made her feel good with toys and other kids. But when i came back home, I really feel restless as how she is managing there. Its almost 5 days, I just wait for her school timing to get over and make sure she is fine. Happy that she loves her school and made good friends including her teacher.LOL. I feel relaxed completely!

Yes now every day will be a new day for u,and also you have to listen to somany and many things from the kid.Every day will give her a new experience and learning , you being at home can know many things from her. I know how a mother feels when the child enters the school.Children are always small to parents, they grow up very fast until its noticed

I can understand your concerns as I was the same when my son went to the kindergarten. I still remember the first day when he went to the kindergarten. He felt scared and cried when we left him. I felt bad, too. But I had to say goodbye to him anyway. Otherwise he couldn't learn to be independent. This trouble situation may last for a month. Then the children will get used to it and know they have to go to school. I love China

Did you leave her there? Or does she come home everyday? I would miss her too like you and wonder if she were okay.

Hi besthope, My younger son also started his school this year in April (he is 4 now) and I too much bothered about him in the beginning. He was so happy to go to school but on reaching school and teacher get him with them he started to cry. Now he is almost settled and rejoins his school after one and half month’s vacation. I am glad to know that your angle is happy with her school, yes dear, kids are adjusting quickly with the new environment. Best of luck to your angel, she looks so pretty.

Hi Sreekala, Well said! She is enjoying her schooling now except at the start of our home, she starts whining, but once she sees her friends and toys, she is adapting well. Thanks Sreekala, its nice to hear you have a little son and experienced same. We mothers get emotionally bonded at the beginning of their schooling and we cannot avoid it! Cheers!!

Sweet. God that sounds really sweet. It must be an experience of its own kind to see your kid dash towards you as if there is no tomorrow. My mom always tell me that the teachers had to give me candies every 5 minute to keep me in room on first 3 days of the school and on the 4th day they gave me a soft toy bear which was tied to my bench and told me that if I want to play with it, I have to come to school. I didn't went for 2 days and when the ears of all the toys at home were torn I went to meet my school bear again! I really wish she enjoys schooling and you start having tension free hours from now on. Cheers.

I was wondering I need to fill the refill with candies for her to convince for school. You are right, toys really makes them more attractive, luckily her school, they have special toys for each buds to enjoy their schooling. She comes back home and starts saying all she played with and her rhymes.Cheers!

I know how does it feels leaving our precious little one on her first day at school. I also had same experience with my 3 kids when they were young, and I never get over the feeling until the youngest goes first day in school. Now they are young teens and I can't hardly remember those days when I am always restless and goes to school an hour early before dismissal because of fear that my kid might be crying and feel relief the moment I saw my kid running smiling towards me... Ugh....parents are (hehehe) have a good day

Hi besthope Yes I did notice you were not around much and I figured you were catching up with the family. How sweet she just started school. I do remember when both of mine first started the first few days were hard. I remember when I use to pick up my daughter from pre-K she use to dash and knock over chairs and the Teacher use to tell everyone watch her, as she runs over to God. LOL it was so cute as she though was loving her school she always excited to see me come and pick her up. Best of luck to your little and hope she continues to enjoy her new school. Mom will further have a few hours now to relax during the day.

Hi HWG, Nice that you found me not active here. You got my childhood remembrance where i was exactly same as your daughter, eager to get back home. And this little one found it tough two days and now making it. She got many friends and when she is home, she use to tell all that happened at school, thats lovely to sit and hear her. Yes HWG, i have more time to relax, but feel little emptiness as she use to accompany me all time!LOL
