A friend of mine posted this on FB and it was just too precious not to share. This dove is way out of line and the cat just keeps ignoring him! What a crack-up! http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2011/07/03/pigeon-ruins-cat-nap_n_889486.html?ref=fb&src=sp#sb=358765,b=facebook

obviously that bird and cat know each other... UNLIKE the cardinal that was bugging Gabby the other night - Gabby, however, doesn't know how to hunt birds (and I would've been upset if she had caught a cardinal)

LOL...Tweety and Sylvester knew each other, too. Didn't stop that cat from trying to make a meal of that canary! True, though, these two obviously had a deep and abiding relationship or this cat would never have put up with that. Isn't it great, though?

cats can learn many things, like that crow that adopted that kitten

Yep. I always had cats and dogs together and they always got along well, despite the normal angst that the two species have. It only follows that cats and birds could be taught the same.
