Limit on amount of posts per day

I am currently a member at another paid to post site. They have a 30 post limit a day. This means I can make around .90 cents a day. Do you think that paid to post sites should limit the amount of posts or do you think they should be unlimited like here at Mylot? I think they should be unlimited. Then I could make more money lol.

Hello Oskar6, I feel that most of companies do have some logic behind it like the site you are talking there is limit of 30 responses they will give you 90 cents a day but on MYLOT i think you won't be able to earn that much by posting 30 responses which i have observed in last 1 month. Therefore if i conclude MYLOT pays less for a response thats why they have kept it unlimited and the site you told is paying higher so they have kept it limited. Moreover Mylot is a discussion site you can discuss things with different people here unlike other PTP sites where you have to post your opinion.

Every site have their own system. 30 post a day is not bad. Earning is also good one. 90 cent a day. If you want more income post here how much you want. I am interested in your this site. Tell me it's link.

Yes, 30 posts is not that bad I guess, because if you think about it, it's pretty rare to me make 30 posts here on myLot. That's why I think they shouldn't limit, because most of the persons don't do the 30 posts anyway. But, I was interesting too to know which site you are talking about. Please, pass the link.

MyLot is not a paid-to-post site. It is for discussions and that is why there is no limit here as a discussion could be never ending, with more people joining in to add and exchange their views with others. I am not an active user on any paid-to-post sites and if there are limits to how much we can post on a certain site I would not feel comfortable there. I don't like being restricted to a certain number of words when I have a thought that I want to express.

If you are limited to 30 posts per day...how does that mean you are restricted to a certain number of words

Are you referring to mypage5? They do limit the number of posts there so even if they pay higher for every post there is really nothing to rejoice about. Besides that site is so boring to me. It does not have much life. It is not as lively as myLot. I don't know if I am the only one feeling this way toward mypage5. But because I feel that way, after reaching my payout I stopped visiting the site. Besides, they don't pay members promptly. I got tired of waiting for my first earnings there. Well they paid me anyway but to my surprise some amount was deducted from my hard-earned money. Why I asked them? They told me because I posted my complaint over the delay in my payment. Whatta! Since then I visited them no more. That site is just a little better than a graveyard! It is so gloomy and boring.

Hello! No I was not reffering to mypage5. I will make a post about the site when I am paid. I dont like sharing sites with others until I know that the site it legit. I hope you understand. Thanks for your response!

i think they should be limited to about 3 discussions made a day. which would be enough foir you to keep up with responding etc. and your friends wont feel taxed with their email filling up etc. now as far as responding, no i dont think that part should be limited. i mean you can make plenty just with responding a lot.

whoa, i really messed up that post. i meant "for" not foir. and i meant to say, i think responding should NOT be limited.

Why are they limited? Is it because of the rate they are paying and you can only make so much a day? I had never heard of this before.

I think it should be limited. The hosting site is then able to pay the members with certainty. Maybe it's a young site and they need to build their funds. There could be any reasons for running their site this way. It is certainly not up to the members to state how they want the site to operate. They should start their own site if they feel this way of operating is not good enough.

I don't think I would like it if I was told that I could only make 30 posts/day here. There are days that I don't get in at all and then I make up for it on other days. It would really suck to not be able to respond to everyone if I had a lot of responses or if a lot of my friends posted on a given day. Of course, if the site doesn't bring in enough money to be able to make the payments, I could see them putting a limit on the number of posts. But if the site is having that kind of trouble, they might not be around much longer.

I don't like sites where there is a limit, because I have less freedom that way. Some days I have lots of thoughts and lots of things that I would like to share or discuss, but if there is a limit I have to choose which topics to write about and which topics to skip and I don't like that. Of course I would be to write about those topics the next day, but I might forget the things that I wanted to express if I am forced to wait. Some days I am able to spend a lot of time online and some times I have just half an hour, and I would like to have the chance to write 55 posts one day and 5 posts the next day instead of being "forced" to write 30 posts each day. I used to be a member of a site where the limit was 5 posts a day. I got very tired of that, and I left long before I reached payout. I just killed my spontaneity and I didn't feel comfortable on that site.

They maybe new in this business that is why they need to limit the amount of member to earn daily to see what is the impact. If they get more revenue I think they increase earnings daily... Will you share that site, to me friend?

It seems kind of counterproductive to limit the amount of activity someone can do on a site. After all, if they are making money from the member's activity, why would they want to limit it? They must have their reasons I guess. I would tend to spend more time on an unlimited site though so I didn't have to worry about keeping track of how many posts I made. Between the two sites, it looks like MyLot comes out on top.

For me, the number of posts at the site is not so critical. The most I am concerning is the credits we can earn within a day. By limiting the number of posts per day is part of the strategy in their administration. As long as this new site is paying to the members, it shall be a good news to all of the online earning members. We are having more option to earn.

every site has its own limit on what one has to post.90 cents is pretty good cash and every limit is allocated to a certain amount.May be if you could convince them to change their terms, they might consider your plea.....

I also think that should be unlimited. I guess that they limit the number of the posts for not having so many spams or useless discussions. But, I don't think this is nice, because is not everyday that you have time to these type of sites and sometimes you feel more disposed to discuss and others day you just want to read some posts and don't make any comments.

To be honest, that sounds a bit stupid! Surely the more posts they have, the more active their users are the more they would earn. Limiting members like that is also limiting earnings. So obviously I believe it should be unlimited like here at Mylot.. I don't post much (don't have time) but believe people should be rewarded for the amount of time they spend on here posting... without limitations.

Hi oscar6! I think it's a good thing that ptp sites limit amount of posts. There are a lot of spammers out there that ruin it for the rest of us. Forum owners don't like spamming and if all of the members they are getting from ptp sites are spammers they will stop investing in ptp site. Then we won't have as many forums to choose from in ptp site and work will be less, earnings less.

I would prefer that any site have unrestricted posts per day like MyLot has. It should be up to each one to put a cap on what one can or wants to post and discuss like in most regular forums. Such limits seems to be arbitrary to me, and only tend to limit the potential earning of the most active members to somewhat the site can handle. I particularly doubt I can reach 30 posts in a single day, but if by some luck I ever reach such amount, for sure I don't want to crash against a "post limit reached" error.

Yea, it should have been like mylot, UNLIMITED everyday. That's the reason why I really love mylot, no site could ever replace it in my heart! :)
