Are you enjoying your summer so far?

Here in the Philippines, I can't even feel the summer anymore. It had been raining to often it feels like it's nearing winter. Well, summer vacations were always ruined, at least for me it is, because of rainy days. Massive fail.

I've been so busy this summer that I have hardly noticed it passing. I find it quite shocking that it is already August and we are making preparations already for our grape and olive harvest in the autumn!

I haven't really enjoyed the summer yet. The weather has been not that favorable for one thing, and secondly I have been so busy at work. But, I am looking forward to get away atleast for a couple of weeks. Thinking of spending a week on the Rockies, and a week up in Alaska.

I am certainly enjoying my summer. Although I have to say that it has been very hot over the last couple of weeks. I live in the Montreal area and, as I am sure many of you may know, it's been really hot. But it has still been nice to have. Especially considering that we've had quite a period of cool and wet weather before we've finally had this warm weather.

I am going to work most of the summer, but I am going on a minivacation next week. It is just a few days, but I am really going to enjoy it. My parents have a timeshare apartment in the north of Denmark and we are going to visit them next week. I haven't been there for years, so it will be nice to visit the place again. I look forward to showing my husband some of my favourite places in that area. I always enjoy the summer. I live in a country with a cold climate, but in the summer months the weather is usually nice.

I'm getting ready for vacation with the excitement I had ever before departure in front of adventures. And how fret now, childish, waiting for the great, in fact our little journey, makes me feel like I have forever young. And I'm forever young, because sometimes blush when I hear something that troubled me, because I love the passion and disorder of adolescence ... and that, as a schoolgirl, wait, year after year, come holiday ... Each home has it starting something magical, as each return has the gift to get excited before a meeting of love. But now collect luggage carefully, carefully, thinking how every thing will look sweet in light of mountain located in the beautiful breeze of the sea breeze. And I wonder how we managed to train existences, so, that we stuffed into small pieces joys of life, one full year expected. We work the entire year with hope, let a week or two, once, we allow our dream holiday and we will heal all the labors, all the shortcomings of all sorrows. And then time seems too short, too hurried, too cruel to us. Because, in fact, all dreams are not departures a week or a month, but year sabbatical, in which we find, to forgive, to remember or to find out who we are. But life does not give us only a piece of chocolate. One week of travel. How many a moment of happiness. Then we have to wait a chance to wonder, the joy to happen again.

i really dislike summer because of the hot weather. we dont have central air plus i have asthma which is made worse by the humidity. i like the cooler days of the fall and spring the best.

Hi Julie, In this place the summer and winter is extreme every year. In this year also it was not different. Fortunately we were away for a month to escape from the harsh summer and kids were also holidaying from school. In our native monsoon started and much rain also spoiled days in some ways. Now we are back and the summer is almost getting over and rain started here too. Usually in rainy season there won’t be much rain so the summer days may be long, I mean, the days may be warmer like in summer.

I dont like summers as summers here are very humid accompanied by lots of perspiration .Winters in West Bengal India are cool and pleasent .I enjoy winters and enjoy all sort of food in winters .

No ! I don't enjoy the summer!I envy you having a good time and enjoy the weather.Over here,It has been over 35 degrees centigrade and sweltering hot weather recently.I have had prickly heat and itch all over.

I am having a wonderful summer so far. I have been on vacation for the last week and a half. I am just hanging out and taking it easy. My grandchildren come over once a week. I spoil them and send them home. I started a new work from home job a few months back and it is a breeze, so even when I am not on vacation it still feels like I am not really working.

Summer here in the Philippines is already over. And during our summer days I can say that I enjoy a lot. I had my pool tripping with friends and that was great for we had a shot of tequila. Yea, i love it! :)

I am Malaysian and here is Summer in long period. This season is very normal for me. And something is very unlike because really hot. And easy make our skin pain and dark color. But totally is okay for me, at my country still is very safe with the weather. But i really wanna go to other country to try other season. Other seasons are very beautiful, i really wanna go there go take picture.

So far my summer is good. While a little more money to go and do things would be nice I really can't complain to much. I have already seen the grandkids for a week and we are getting ready to have them again for another week. I can't wait!

Summer is my favorite season due to the warm weather. Last month was my daughter's birthday and this month it was my birthday so summer has great celebrations. The evenings stay light into the evening so my days out with my kids are fantastic. I went to the a sub tropical garden center the other day and it was a very enjoyable experience. Last month I loved my weeks trip to Yorkshire where I did lots of fun things with my kids. We went on a steam train, looked around an animal rescue place and went to Tropical World in Leeds. Summer in my home country is June, July and August.

I am despising this summer. First of all, we moved to a new city in California. Here everyday it is 101 or 102 degree temperature. We are not used to this. Even at home, I am scared to use my laptop due to that overheating thing that happens in hot temperature. Of course, we are using the air conditioner, but not always. You know the bill thing is always there to bother us? Another thing is that I don't know anyone in this city. Meanwhile, my car needs a new timing belt. That means I have to spend a lot of money. Also I cannot drive back to my city with that dangerous situation I am having with my car. Last, my dad broke his hip. He is in the hospital and so we are in a bad stress
