Commenting response can be so hard sometimes...

Most specially if it's like five to six pages of it! I still can't believe it, I promise myself that i would sleep before twelve in the morning but it's yet again three AM and it sucksto boot. I live up to my word and it's not easy. probably a lot better than doing anything elses. hard to believe some simpliest questions sometimes gets the more response. guess the typing thing was more related to the mylotters because MOST of them are touch typist Now, i can understand why some don't comment on their responses. but it's still their lost, I maybe slow but am taking time. probably too slow to finish it up till 3am. Have a nice day

dear LK, Commenting to responses is the easiest part for me than giving responses to friends topic eh (hehehe) It's your topic,so,it's easier to comment back right? Response soon as you receive one to avoid cramming Oh well...go to bed,it's early in the morning,or shall i call mother?

Yes, i must agreed to it. Because i do came across that it is really hard to give respond to those who had commented on my discussion. Because of that, there had been a few discussions which i haven't fully responded back to them. Besides that, time do play a part of it. Since i have limited time to online, so really need more time to respond back to those who had commented on my discussions.

Yes, by commenting back we will feel to be a part of the community. Making the discussion looks lively and engaged more members participating into it. That's the main purpose of Mylot. I will try to spend some time into replying to the comments of my old discussions as well.

Hello myfb, It's not that easy to comment on a discussion most specially if it's just too many of them. yu can d it if you want and if you have a will. we should do play a part of it because they took part in our discussion, how can we be not part of being in this site? i have limited time too but i make sure i have time for comment. have anice day.

wow lk! you must be starting really interesting discussions or have tons of friends here in mylot for you to have discussions that last five to six pages long. lol! anyway, commenting back has been a practice of mine and i'm already having a hard time catching up with discussions three pages long so i can imagine how hard it is for someone to reply to posts in a thread six pages long!!! whew!!! must be really hard, eh? anyway, don't sweat about it because all your efforts will be rewarded by month's end letran knight. cheers!!!

hey letran knight! like you, i'm still working on a system to ensure that i comment back to all the responses in the threads that i started. i think i owe it to those that participated in my discussions. that's just me though. of course, if the initial response is wanting, i would most likely not leave a comment but so far, i see a lot more replies that i can reply back and for that i'm thankful. just keep plugging... that's what i tell myself. eventually, i would have been able to reply to all the responses in my threads. cheers lk!

Hello allen, Yes I know, but for sometimes this can be just too damn much I don't know if i have slow down or simply just become too much overwhelmed with the number of responses. i have been practicing to type faster but it seems that it's making it harder than the usual. you're right, everything i do know will be rewarded. i hope you perfected your commenting part too. have a nice day.

Hi Letran Knight: I agree with you and the point is that I really want to respond all the persons that have took some time to participate on my discussions. At the same time you get tired when there are so many pages to read and answer. If you have to make like 100 responses in a day about the same subject I think your responses will become unoriginal. So I prefer to take my time. My strategy is to respond to the first 10 answers I've received, do something else and then come back to participate. ALVARO

Hello starsailover, I try to comment to response for at least one page at a time. If i see a page with complete ten responses i would just use my notepad to read them one by one and then comment on them there. after making those i just copy paste them from my note pad. usually when i don't get to them in time, i just go back and deal with it one by one

That is the price one has to pay here for being popular. And some post too many topics and that adds to the load. It is better to have just a couple or two at a time and deal with them effectively.

Hello Allknowing, Ha-ha-ha, At least now I know how hard it is to popular. some post too many damn topics and yet not only they get two or three response, they're not being paying attention at. yeah, this is the dilemna that i need to get used to.thank you

I get moderate number of responses and I attend to every single one of them. I am more into responding and commenting than starting new topics. There is so much here one can do at one's own pace rather than be breathless trying to catch up with the work load created which could have been contained with a defined algorithm. To each their own but relaxation could be a common factor.

You Knight should keep on moving! Being slow to respond may be a sign of you getting old already, eh? What's keeping your horses so slow Letran? Maybe just stop doing other things so that you can focus on responding here in myLot! What do you think? Haha! I feel for you, commenting back and forth and responding here and there is really tiresome and mind draining. Don't worry, the other myLotters are not that mean to judge you hastily of being a no responder if you don't respond immediately. But you can't prevent them from thinking that you are getting too old to type faster here in myLot!

10 Jul 11
Hello Agent-gulaman, I know that am getting old but probably not as much edgy. to be honest I've been here for like two hours already, then it would be fine. there are a lot of older people here already who are better and faster than i am so i don't think going slow is something insulting on my own part i have to do my best. i guess what's best me out is i commented on all of them.

Yep, as long as you respond back in the best way that you can everybody will love you for that! And wow! You are still doing great in responding back to the comments that you gain in your discussion! Keep up the good work! You're really one of the myLotters that I know who I am sure that I will get a response once I comment on your discussion!

Giving substantial comments back to your respondents will be to your advantage because you earn from them just the same. Of course a short thank you would not as most of us here knows. You know what, this is the reason why I seldom create many discussions these days. I can't really promise I have enough time to attend to all my discussions so I'd rather just participate on others. I believe I need to comment back to my respondents and if I won't it makes me feel like stupid. Imagine just posting a discussion and just leaving it unattended?
• Philippines
11 Jul 11
Hello salonga, Yeah, that's right i hope this will inspire more people to see what is the true message of earning from the discussion and that means when we comment on them, that's where the earning starts. I know you have other duties that are not to be delayed as a working person and as parent. as for me, i guess am lucky enough to do this. have a nice day.

Hi Letran! That's what you get for having such great discussions! And yes, you are a man of your word and an all around great guy at that. And I'm sure that there are people who don't "touch type". One of my gf's went to college and she still can't type! She IM's me and I get so tired of waiting for her I tell her to just call me already! But, I also know some very fast "two fingered typists" too. My ex-bf can type fast that way (although he can't spell)!

11 Jul 11
Hello Opal, No, i don't I am all round at that now because i can't respond on all my friends discussions, i can't even barge in to commment on my other friends discussions, more focus now on commenting responses base from my discussions. Yeah, it's hard, but there's no easy task if mylotters takes the post socializing a bit seriously.

I know how you feel and that is why I am not starting any discussions at the moment. I feel that if I start a post I need to be here to reply to each and every response I receive and, because I have been so limited for time lately I have not bothered starting any topics but I am still here to respond! I agree that commenting to our responses is the least we can do to show appreciation to those who take the time with our posts and it is after all what makes this a discussion group.

Hello Paula, It's not a bad thing actually, to be honest somethings not really meant to be like me i am not really used to responding now a days because i thought it wouldn't be such a good time to respond where my mind can't think that much. i hope you do take time to comment on response if ever you intent to make discussions. have a nice day.

ya commenting to the responses that we gain through our discussions is very tough. if we get more responses then we have to spend more time to comment back, so in that sense it better to have discussions with less number of comments.
• Philippines
10 Jul 11
Hello venkit, Not tough but hard because it's time consuming. but at least i have nothing to worry about when ever i create another discussion.if you are doing it i hope it doesn't consume you're own time. i don't have a problem with it at all. have a nice day.

Hello dynzdolina, because I gave importance to your responses, it's really not that amazing if you have the passion to do and the will to comment on them, it's easy not to make the choice. but when you do, being consistent with it is the hard part and I can say it's hard but i am fulfilled when ever i comment on all of them. have a nice day.

Hi! Yeah.. sometimes, it's just hard to reply with the responders. Even if we want many people to respond, because we know we need to respond back, it can be stressful where there are just too many responses. And yeah... the simplest things here in mylot often get the most responses. Maybe because more people can relate.
• Philippines
10 Jul 11
Hello Bannybanzie, It is indeed stressful but what keeps me posted is Passion and Fun, with out it I would literally stop and go to sleep for the day. with this relating those people in such a simply different than any one elses. make sure you comment on them really. have a nice day.

YES YES YES. I cant agree with you MORE!!! Sometimes I am lazy to start a new discussion as I can predict how many responses I will have to respond to. Somtimes for some responses, they really have nothing to respond to (maybe because they are already the perfect answers! lol), but if I dont respond to them, it seems that I am quite impolite and did not read the responses seriously. So sometimes I am very confused and I just comment on others' posts. May be for you, dont push yourself too much on responding to all the responses one time, you can take a rest first. Like me, I respond to some of the comments on my posts one day, and respond to the remaining later. I think it is a good way of giving quality responses. It is also a good measure to show your respect for the one who commented on your posts! Cheers!

Hello Porkchopchop, I think am beginning to stop making new discussion because of the situation lately. it's not something that I can actually do. I don't want to push myself too much there, but there's a good measure of respect. thank you for you're time and have a nice day

Who said to you that it is hard.No i dont believe so because i believe that it is almost impossible to comment back in most cases. There are certain cases where i stuck to comment back. There are certain responses who agree with us but completely in a different way.In cases like this it is almost very impossible because some times our comments go beyond the matter of discussion and brings confusion among other responders about what we are actually trying to say.
• Philippines
13 Jul 11
Hello Humanicon, Well, I have done the impossible my friend. I believe it is possible if you're not rushing in comment on every or any body for that matter. there is nothing wrong with it because i have made my choice to comment back on discussions, which was pretty cool and i didn't mind at all. have a nice day.

I know that it is considered the kind thing to reply to each and every comment, but I'm pretty sure that if you get to 5 or 6+ pages of comments that many of those last page people won't mind as much if you have moved on to another topic and don't respond back to them. One time I posted a very popular post and I got a lot of pages of responses, the only problem was they were all pretty much the same thing, over and over, and over again and honestly... how many ways can you say 'thank you for your response, I'm glad that you feel that way.' and then to try to stretch this basic concept out to about 5 lines. It get's tempting to just copy and paste the same response to each comment down the line. But, that's like spamming mylot and so I don't do that. But, what I'm trying to say is there are some situations where you shouldn't feel guilty to not respond.
• Philippines
10 Jul 11
Hello dismalgrin, It took me literally, I never wanted to have so many responses probably one or two pages, three pages but more than that WOW! I don't want to consider thank you for response remark because i prefer a complete comment from that response. thought it did took me i never regret it. have a nice day.

Its really hard if we have to comment to a huge number of responses on a single discussion but always i consider it as my duty. Thats why i comment back to each responses without starting a second discussion. have a nice day.

Hello shibham, You said it and it's not something that we experience every day, probably i mostly experience but not most of the time. maybe starting a discussion on that same day is some that really prompted me to feel tired because it's kinda feel pressuring when i don't see uncommented responses. have a nice day as well.

Simple questions create interest and thinking way to give response to that discussion. It is very easy to answer, and we can read them in few minutes. Our mind will also be sharp. We also get the satisfaction. Sometimes our comments can make sensation.

10 Jul 11
Hello ramesh, I guess that reminds me not to make a new ones. there are only a few instances where my mind is a bit sharp but not that quick in thinking, sometimes i even stop mylotting to rest and think about it more before i come back. the most important for me, is to make a comment that sure isn't gonna insult some one. have a nice day.

Hello LK, There is no doubt that more simple the topic is more responses you get & it takes time to respond all those responses further and again it become more difficult to further comments. I know this is hard and requires lot of time & stamina so i seldom start a discussion rather like to respond to the discussions but thats not the way to escape as you should always reply to the responses as delays are accepted but not responding is not at all accepted by the users as it affects your image & people start neglecting you from the next discussion you start.
• Philippines
10 Jul 11
Hello Sjvg, Yeah, i think you have seen that topic already, I didn't think people are gonna go there anymore ( I hope ). Not much stamina but probably in my hands and eyes because i get to be tired once in a while so i stop after a few hours of doing so. to be honest, there's no problem being neglected if they are busy, i don't wanna be neglected simply becaue i was accused of something i didn't do. which didn't happen. have a nice day./
