why dont people believe that god is real? or that he is alive?

that is the reason why i really believe that there are two equal and opposite forces that act in our world.... if God is only purely Good, therefore, no such sufferings happening on this world... but people always propagated that God does test us if how much faith do we have from our God.... but TESTS is not a reason... why??? because God already knows if you're been bad or good or passed the test... that the TEST is not yet been tested, God knows already the results... so, why testing?

hello my friends i think you have missed the whole concept of GOD .GOD represents whole existence of which we are part .GOD does not exist in personified state , he is not someone who is very powerful and ruler like personality dominating over every tiny particle present in this world and determining destinies of people .This is absolutely rubbish ,GOD is not a ruler nor he is a lord . Then what is GOD ? GOD is pure energy ,the energy which keeps us alive ,the energy which is responsible for love .Our soul is reflection of GOD .GOD is not a person who lives in any geographical location and watching over us instead GOD is vital and pure energy present in every soul . Each one of us is independent to make his own choices and create his own destiny .All pains and sufferings present in the world are due the personal choices made by people to satisfy their ego .GOD is present in us but our ego does not want GOD to come out and express himself . To feel GOD or to realise him we have to destroy our ego .

If god is omniscient, he knows what choices we will make eons before he even created us, thus he knows we will cause inhumanity, suffering and pain, meaning, if he is omnipotent, he has no wish to stop our suffering & pain, making him NOT merciful, and it also makes us he own reality tv show, since he didn't have to create us, and the misery/suffering and pain of some humans (like starving children in africa, abuse victims, murders, etc)

If God is perfect, He cannot be vengeful. End of story. I've always found it interesting that humans personified gods. If gods are above men, does it not make sense that they should be above our flaws? Yes, I also find it quite strange all the violence found in the Bible that we would deem inhumane in real life. Seems contradictory to me.

yes, like the parable/story of when god destroys an entire city out of spite/anger etc for the misdeed of a few people within that city. This is called collective punishment, and even the UN have banned such things. So, humans ban it as inhumane, but god does it in the bible?

does this include 'Evil' then? does this include envy, pride, lust, gluttony etc as well? Please prove god is real, or that he is alive without circular logic or hearsay. (Since you have stated affirmatively that he does/is alive/real)

Good and Evil must be balanced.... or else, it will only collapsed.... i think God is composed of 50% Good and 50% Evil.... if not.... therefore.... why FAITH is the reason that God really exist? How about Muslim have a greater faith in their god Allah too, it this means that Allah is also exist because of a Muslim's greater Faith to their God??? the see the unseen Allah because of their greater FAITH???? the same explanation to Buddha? i'm just curious.....

I wouldn't go as far as to say that all religions are causing mass harm. Buddhists have never started a war. Pagans do not go door to door to push their beliefs on others. Just examples.

and no such thing as perfect on this world.... meaning.... no such religion is perfect.... i am a Roman Catholic in Faith Religion... even my Religion is also not perfect... Is your religion the only perfect? or, are you Roman Catholic too? that is the reason's why, in order to fill the missing un-perfect gap, we need to listen to other religions too.... it is better to hear options from the other side... and not by just listening to only one side of the coin and disregard the other.... no such religion is perfect... but we all believe in a one perfect God.... different in interpretation because each human having a different kind of mind(brain) thinking.... but still, we all believe in a one perfect God....

No, I am a secular humanist. I do not need a god to be good. I am good without the prospect of a pit of fire for eternity, otherwise (you are in fact saying, if hell didn't exist you might not be good!?) To be clear - I don't believe in god. If people do, that is fine, as long as it does not harm other people. Unfortunately, at the moment religions ARE causing mass harm to many people, so religion is a bad thing.
