use of a mirror

After looking at people on the street, in the market or even on TV I wonder of people have stopped looking at the back part of their bodies. I seem to see more people with this or that hanging out, bottoms displayed when for goodness sakes they should be covered, back of hair seem never to be combed all this would be taken care of if we just saw ourselves as others see our backs. Come to think of it, it's been awhile since I looked behind.

Way back in high school, in one of my classes, my teacher asked our class if we ever looked our back bodies when we look at ourselves in the mirror. She said we should try it out. Naked and look at the back part of body and we'll find some markings or moles that we never thought we have. I somehow did what she said and to my surprise, she is right. I saw a mole on the back part of my leg. I didn't knew I had it till I did what she said. Maybe, people should try it. They might find markings they never thought they have. :)

Instead of thinking that people are not using a mirror, I really think that the reason that people look so bad from behind is because of the fact that they don't care at all what other people think about them. The thing that really amazes me is the clothes that are made for children. My daughter is eight years old and I've had a really hard time this year finding shorts for her that are actually long enough. If there were more reasonable things available, people wouldn't always be showing their rear ends.

That must be what it is. They have forgotten to look at their backsides. It does seem like shorts seem to get shorter and shorter. I went shopping for my daughters at the first of summer and was furious when I saw the choice of summer clothes. The shorts looked liked blue jean panties! No way I was buying them! I'd make my own first and I am not a seamstress...LOL..at least their hineys would be covered though. They really were terrible though.

Lol never do I do this. I am probably that person on the street you're scowling at lol. I barely even straighten the back of my hair, never check to make sure I have no wardrobe malfunctions going on. I guess you could say I am lazy lol

As a kid, I remember my mom dressing me up in cute, frilly dresses and asking me to turn around so she could make sure I was pretty "all over". I would see her doing the same with a full length mirror we had and always making sure her hair was done right from the back or that her clothes fit her well from the back also. So it stayed with me and I wouldnt dream of stepping out without making sure that Im "pretty" all around LOL. You need to buy a full length mirror and a smaller one so you can look at yourself from the back. Ive seen those people too and Im always tempted to fix their hair or tuck their clothes in for them

Haha, actually I'm always checking the back of my hair before I walk outside. I really hate being caught with messy hair, mostly because it HAS happened. The displayed bottom has never happened to me, but I've sure seen some!

haha...kind of true. i think in some cases it might just be their 'style' of doing things, sometimes people are like me and just too lazy or just don't care what they look like. but i always check the front, although i don't have a full length mirror in my house, just the bathroom one. but i sometimes don't know what's going on back there. i know some holes in skirts, pants or dresses have escaped me sometimes to thankfully my husband pointed it out before i left the house.

I have been taking so much care about my back side hair, because if it is not good appeared on the head, then it feels like uneasy for me. Automatically my sensors will detects that and sends the notice to my mind, immediately my hands move there and correct it....

GReat discussion. I couldn't even remember when was the last time i took a glance of my behind. Don't have any idea how it looks like. I just make sure that every time i go out i'm properly dressed and no unnecessary or embarrassing thing is sticking out of my back. I suddenly recall my brother-in-law staying in front of the mirror for a very long time. He would stare at his face for a few minutes then turn on his sides and then his back. And he's a guy! Maybe i should start doing the same thing. Suddenly i became conscious of how people looks at my back!

Haha! That made me think of my back also! I'm checking out my back now but I really don't know how to! It really depends on the person or individual. Some people are really conscious on how they look that they will almost always check themselves on car windows, glass doors and shiny metals around them to look. Me, I only got a chance to see my full back and behind when I am on a barber shop with mirrors all around. I do have a mirror, but it is just small that I really can't see much of my body in there. I always use glass doors to check on sideway parts of my back and behind.

I also often wonder this! I must say I don't always check behind me when I'm getting dressed especially not if I'm in a huge rush - hope I haven't had any embarrassing clothing disasters that i didn't even know about! Sometimes I wonder though if people even looked in the mirror when they were trying on clothes to buy - some people buy clothes that are just plain unflattering! I think that whatever body shape you are you can find clothes to suit you and make you look good - people should just pay a bit more attention to how their clothes fit them!
