Have you thought myLot to be like Facebook?

If you are on FB a lot, you will notice how people update their profile, ask questions, respond to others questions, and make friends. Well, myLot kind of works the same, except we earn money. I know we don't get the pleasure of catching up with old high school friends, ex lovers or viewing their kids pictures, but the social part is all the same. I haven't been using myLot for a very long time, but I do enjoy everyone's profile pics, questions, and responses.
The thing is most people feel like they can't make money from here and that is true if you don't enjoy writing and responding to others post. It's kind of like the saying "I love my job," and believe me if you are paying me from the comfort of my home I will make this work for me.
Just a thought...

As someone else said, here on mylot you discuss things. You can solve problems or share good knowledge or experience. On Facebook it's more to read about other people are posting in a more socializing manner. I'm on Facebook, but I find it different in comparison to mylot. I have friends in another way on Facebook, than on mylot. Here on mylot I have never met you. We talk freely being human beings living on Planet Earth. It's more you write and read and feel a close relationship sharing daily problems, thoughts, and I learn much from people here on mylot.

Now I can agree with you on this QeeGood. I really do feel I can freely express myself on myLot, without hurting someone's feelings or worrying about them taking it personal.
If my sisters and husband only knew what I say about them on Twitter...lol...J/K

Yes,I will say yes.I have thought many times that it would be better if mylot becomes like facebook.Because just imagine we can cat live with out mylot friends,share out post for which we can get paid,and many more things like facebook and side by side earning some dollars. It would attract more and more people. Still mylot is considered as one of the top earning sites ,but still it can change. And yeah,FB and mylot are totally different things but still it can be made better.

Can you imagine the number of people on facebook that comment and make updates their earning while doing so? Wow, maybe facebook would not be doing so well if that was the concept though. With the millions who use it daily, could they sustain the members. It is a bit different there from here, as many are no usually carrying discussions, but more so a could phrase or two.

I think the two are altogether different from each other. Facebook is completely a social networking site while mylot is a discussion site with the scope of earning money where the more you participate in discussions the more you earn.

I never considered mylot to be like FB. I have given up on FB two years ago because i didn't like it though i was once addicted to it for two years as well. For me mylot is way much better than FB, not because i get paid but because people here despite their adversities still do interact in a discussion.
I like discussing here with people i considered friends but haven't even really met in person. That's what i like about mylot.

I can't say I am addicted to FB, but I got there two to three times throughout the day just to see what's going on as a weekend entertainment in my local area, birthday wishes, and I get my daily word. So, those things definitely keep me coming back for more. I also like to upload my pictures for my family far away can see my kids. So, there are some positives for a FB page.

I see what you mean about some of the similarities, but I still think that facebook and mylot are quite different. The great thing about MyLot is that you can interact with people from all over the world about all sorts of issues, without having to disclose personal or private information or give access to photos such as you do on facebook. I really enjoy participating in the discussions here and I don't think you get the same opportunities to speak about topical issues on facebook as you do here! So I think I would have to say I enjoy both facebook and mylot, but for different reasons!

I do not think that facebook and myLot are similar. I use facebook to updated my status, check my friends updates and chat with them. I consider myLot to be a kind of discussion forum where additionally you get paid. Personally for me they are quite different from each other.

Uhmm.. not really I always think that facebook and mylot is different. Because I could earn in mylot and for facebook it's more on socializing with other people without earning anything. For mylot you could earn a little just by posting and replying from topics aside from that I treat mylot as an information for the sites and other things that I have questions.
