Payout: Before or After?

July Payout - Payment Proof

It's almosta day after green day, that is when the myLot logo turns green and myLot members/affiliates that reached the cut off get paid through their Paypal accounts. I received my second payout after being on and off for some time and it gave me some sort of second wind and was really enjoying myLot yesterday. It made me wonder however if most mylot members feel the same way I did... What do you feel after reaching payout? Do you feel excited or do you feel exhausted? It also made me wonder whether most mylotters are active after reaching and or receiving payment or whether they are more active when they are on the brink of making cutoff? As for me the first time I reached payout, I felt exhausted. This time though, I was actually excited. What about you? Why do you think you feel that way?

I have been away from mylot for a while so haven't reach payout for this month and probably the next one too reaching minimum payout limit in mylot is not that hard to reach whenever i reach the minimum payout mark for a month then the money i earn from 1 to 15 days are still in the balance and the next payout don't seem too far which helps in a little way to keep mylotting

I guess it does help lift one's spirit a bit when you make payout/cutoff right? It also true that the carry over from the last cutoff would help you jump start the next month, but like you I have been on and off mylot the last month and I doubt I will make July's cutoff as well (I actually have only .08 cents left after the last payout! But after receiving this particular payout, i have been rejuvenated so to speak and it gave me a reason to keep coming back to mylot. I hope I don;t get lazy again and that I won't be too swamped with work to participate. Happy mylotting!

I'm really surprised that you are already able to reach second payout with your status while I have only reached once.

If you focus on just the number beside the name its a bit misleading. Remember that your comments on reponses in your discussions are not counted as posts. At least they are not in my case, when I tried following the number while I was still chasing the cut and paste feature. I respond to all comments/responses made to my posts, whether they are discussions I started or follow up on my responses. I used to start long discussions in mylot but lately since I have not been active and not getting the number of responses I used, I reckoned it would be netter for me to respond than create new discussions that have few responses. Either, We are paid for our participation in mylot right? BTW, I also use the search feature of mylot.

@ choybel - Your earnings do not depend only on number of posts there are several other activities for earnings here on MYLOT like Tasks, referrals etc. Whenever you comment on the responses your number don't increase but you do earn for those responses.Whenever you start discussion your number increases by one though you give comments to number of responses so you cannot relate number of posts with the earning.

Thanks for confirming my previous post guys, I suddenly thought there was something wrong with my account! @mike - I know it is possible to make payout early but payout with less than a hundred post mark? I don'n know anyone personally, but your friend must have started one hell of a discussion and responded to every last but of response! @sjvg - Though I cringe at the thought of doing tasks, There are indeed several ways to earn in mylot.

Mylot is great and it has a team of responsible admin who are good paymasters. I have been here for five years and they never fail to pay me when I reach payout. I am a regular here and do not see any reason why I should reduce my participation upon receiving payment since I enjoy just being here.

When I am over consumed with mylotting I would take a short break only to come back with full of enthusiasm. The only time that I leave this place longer than I am supposed to is when I am on vacation overseas. I will be going again on a week break next month when I go to Indonesia for a short holiday. Otherwise I am here almost daily.

Wow! I get on and off all the time because of workload, but I will try to be more active, I just won;t over exert myself I guess so that I won;t burnout! It's good to know you are taking a holiday in Indonesia, I hear the weather there is great.

Wow 5 years? Thats quite some time... I do agree with you that mylot is a stable and legit site. The admins are doing a great job. It's not really looking for a reason to stop mylot, I quit for a while some time ago and lost around USD3 for the fact. I'm not doing that again! But don't you just feel exhausted sometimes?

I guess when you are on the brink of making payout, it is really exciting right? It give you an adrenaline rush giving you the energy to respond to many discussions. Are you near payout cutoff for next month? IF so good luck! Happy mylotting!

Congrats my friend for you second payout. I usually don't feel exhausted as I do like you. Simply dive into discussions and post to anything I can be useful and helpful with. Therefore, so what you did and let it flow and then it will not exhaust you.

Maybe I should do that as well at least 1-3 responses a day would be ok right? Just to keep some activity in my account. That is a good strategy.

Hello, Payday is always a good day. Especially when you are being paid for something you actually enjoy doing. Not everyone is lucky enough to have a job or a job they actually enjoy doing. Happy days.

So true! Not many people have dream jobs and getting paid for doing what you would still be doing even when you are not paid just makes it sweeter! I guess peoples' morale are high during payday and that would be the reasons for the high participation?

Hello shatterd, I reached to $10 last month but i increased my payout $25 but still i am too far from it. I feel exhausted as you need to do lot of work here to acheive it.I think most of the MYLOTTERS become more active when they are near the payout or in the start of the month.

I figured as much. When you are on the brink you seem to get excited at getting there right? Wow USD25? Thats too much for me and might require me to be really active in mylot to even make that much in 2 months! But I do think thats a good idea for those that are really active... Hmmm maybe I should try that this time so that I will be driven to participate more in discussions... Thanks!
