Plants v's Zombies

Has angone played this game before? At first this seemed an easy game to complete but now I have reached a level I simply cannot win. It is the zombies with javelins I cannot defeat as they can bungy jump over all amumnition you put in from of them. The best bet is to obliterate them with a cherry bomb or mine if you can plant them quickly enough. The problem is cherry bombs require a large amount of points and sunlight for points is not fastly acquired as the game is played at nightime. If you are really unlucky the sombies even end up eating your sunflowers. Last time I played I managed to to loose all my sunflowers and consequently all points. I was not impressed.

This is easy to solve :) there are several ways to do this. the first being massive pea shooters lol. they only jump over obstacles or the first plant they reach. if you slow them with the ice peas or have several pea shooters hitting them they will drop. the 2nd way as you mentioned are the cherry bombs. expensive but they also take out several zombies in a small radius. 3rdly are the squashes, keep in mind they can jump forward and backwards so even if they live to jump over them they will still get squashed. but the best ways are the large boulders and the magnet mushrooms. the javelin zombies cant vault over the larger boulders and the magnets strip the pole vaults away so they cant jump at all. as far as night time dont use the sunflowers at all. use the mushroom versions that cost only 15 sunlight. they give off less at the start but eventually they give the same 25 sun per tick. and dont forget to stack up lines of the 0 cost mushrooms also. use them as a first line of defence that is free cost. they work great as time delayers :) hope these few tips helped you and hope you continue to enjoy the game :D good luck!

I played this game and finished all the levels. There is a plant you can use to repel the bungee jumpers. That plant protects other plants from being pulled up by the zombie. It's been a while since i last played the game so I can't recall the name of the plant. I'll play the game later and come back here to tell you its name. Happy myLotting!

I think he/she was complaining about javelin zombies, not the bungee zombies.

Nothing to with it but I like your manga avatar pic indelible. I'm alao happy as think I'm about to reveive my coloured staff for making 100 posts. Thanks to Banned Helsing in trying to suggest a repelant to bungee jumpers.

if that's the case then he just have to plant tall nuts. They cannot jump over it.

I was an addict before when I am still playing this game. I even do some planning and strategizing during work hours just to implement it when I got home. I have finished the adventure/story mode of it already. I have reached 89 flags in survival endless. It really is a finger flexing game as whenever I get to play it my fingers are always tired from getting all the sun and the coins and planting different plants and weapons in. Try to strategize your postioning and build on it early. I use the wintermelons and the gloomshrooms. They are very effective. But I haven't played the second version of it yet.

Unfortunately I reformatted my computer which also includes my Plants versus Zombies files. It was also ages before when I did that, about a year ago already so I can't remember the exact details. As far as I can remember, I used wintermelons and gloomshrooms with some cob cannons. Those are the three most critical plants to have. I also have spikes at the front. Sorry if I don't have the blueprint already. Just try to create your own build using those that I recommended.

I had played this game and is always playing it for almost three times. I have already three trophies as a token of finishing the game. You have to use the icy plant, which throw an iced seed towards the zombie. Try also to put spikes on the first lane of your plant. These are some techniques that can be use to slow down those athletic zombies, the one with the javelin throws. The encounter with the Dr. Zombie is quite tougher than you think. But, it's quite worth of playing. Better luck next time.

This is a really fun game. It can get pretty rough at the later levels though. The various gizmos you get help with the zombies..I prefer the grenades & bombs.

I have played this and it is by far my favorite game on my iPhone! :) I really got hooked to it, and I completed all the levels in just 1 day. I can't believe it myself either, but I just couldn't stop playing. Next thing I know, I already finished all the levels. I wanted more! I hope they release PVZ 2 or something soon. :)

I'm impressed so nmany people have played this game and am also intrigued that you played it on your iphone. I have an iphone but I don't really played games on it. I think the sceen would be too small for most of them. How much did you pay for the game on itunes by the way? It's impressive that you managed to complete all thew levels on a small device. I have found myself challenged at abourt level 4 (I don't know how many there are) but I haven' been allowed to participare in any of the mini-games and other fun stuff yet. I find the javelin holding zombies particularly difficult as they can bungy jump over things and demolish your amunition and plants. I must keep trying. Do you knows if and when thr sequal is due to be released? I hope you have another game to play in thew meantime. You have given me the idea that I would like an ipad to play games. I would have to have a look into its fewatures and also think about costs. I may alos look at the features of the apple macs but I know that these may both be over priced for what they are. For now I have my HP latop.

I just got to download the full game last week. It was a good buy at only $2.99 at bigfish. My husband, my daughter and myself got hooked. We would take turns playing it. We're all addicted. I love the game, and its something I would like playing over again, even if I already finished all the levels.

If it's a nighttime level, then you should do as another poster has suggested and just use mushrooms. The 0 cost mushrooms can be spammed. Place them as often as possible. You can even sacrifice them by placing them in the first row when you see a pole-vault zombie approaching. They can only jump over one plant, and they slow down after doing it, so the rest of your plants can take it down more easily. (But your first row plants will definitely get eaten pretty quickly.) Oh, and use squashes instead of bombs unless you can take down pole-vault zombies in two or three rows at once. They're cheaper so you can plant them more often.

I only play online version of it and have been addicted to it. I've been playing almost everyday and somehow cannot stop. Since I am playing a limited version, I don't know much about higher levels, but I'm aware that there are lots of interesting stuffs going on. I've been able to play the puzzles and am able to master till level 20.

Hi caterina! I love playing this game about 2 years ago. But I checked this game just a week ago and I still love it. What I can advise is to earn more money first. Try to plant as many sunflowers as you can. Try to use plants that slows enemy like Snow Pea.

I love this game too. It's really great, and while not that hard in the adventure mode it can get a greater challenge on the endless survivals. I guess you are talking about the first levels don't you? The pole vaulters are among the hardest in that phase. The best there is a snow pea, it will slow everything down so your peashothers can deal with them in peace. 1 snow plus 2 regular shooters can handle most of the zombies there. In an emergency against pole vaulters, hurry and place a sunflower (cheap plant) right in front of them. They will jump it and then walk slowly to your defenses (so you'll have more time). Cherry bombs are a waste of sun here. On the night, use a puff-shroom (free!) to stop and delay them. And use only sun-shrooms, not sunflowers. And the best weapons of all, the fume-shroom when you can.

I have play this game so many time and i real liked it but now i don't play it anymore because it is a game like angry birds that everyone play for a short time. But plants vs zombies is a very good made game because you can play it on much mobiles but also on the pc. The graphics and everything sucks but the gameplay (game experience) is very good and it is a game that everyone at least have to try.

I think all you need to do is to put a umbrella leave to repel those bungee zombie. You can also use that plant to shield your other plants from the zombie that have a catapult. My sister played a lot this game she even have many rare plant weapon to defeat all the strong and thick and zombies. =)

Plants vs. zombies... My office mates before encouraged me to play this game. She said, I might get addicted as she is when I"ll start to play. But when I started playing it, I kinda bored with it. Although it requires a lot of your strategy.. But I more like playing dota than plants vs. zombies. :)
