In a good morning some one sends me a mail claiming to be a bank accountant in Burkina Faso a country in Africa. He says that there was a man living there who died and left these good money in the account and he wanted to transfer it to a foreign account where he could share the money with the owner of the account. He gives a good calculation of how things will go and even explains on how he will transfer the amount. Am always alert on such deals which are to good so i put him to test. What test shall i give him to get him? Mylotters tell me. This guy might have robbed many people money and maybe eh thinks i am too a customer whom he can cheat. what will i tell him. I pray that he is not a mylotter to learn what we are saying here.

there's no way of stopping them, that's how loose the internet world is. there should be one law to stop things like these on the net.

I have already deleted it and i thought maybe he would be making a plan to reach another person like me so what can we do to stop him. Share the way forward please.

The law can start with me and you. I believe in one statement that reforms start with me and you. We can start carrying out a plan to come up with such so as to ensure that the web users are protected always.

Don't tell him anything, just ignore that email and delete it. This is certainly not true and don't make any thoughts about this.

Good advice but can you paraphrase why i should not think of taking any action against this man maybe we can report him to investigation groups so that he maybe taken and put behind bars.

You can do this, you can sue him, but I guess it would cost you a lot of time and money. It is up to you.

I think we have other ways of stopping him rather than sueing him. This activity can lead to a great loss of money on my side and so i can not indulge in it.

Quite obviously its fake....when you respond to him, he will ask you to pay for things like transportations n blah blah, and after you make the pay, he would be gone. I saw a friend fall for this. He lost some 10000 rs. Just give him fake details if you wanna play with him :D

Right i am sure but see what he told me; that the money was to be used for transport and any other legal charges. I think even if it is true he will introduce to me more charges in the name of the car has broken down and we have no cash now but money in check or electronic. Or even our accounts are not functional.

reply to the address just to waste his time but do it from a web based email acc so he dosen't know who bit, that way you won't go on a suckers list and get loads more spam. Act like you are keen but then start introducing paranoid concerns, say you think a man at the post office was an undercover fed watching you etc or pretend not to know how to use the money transfer and ask for help with every step. I would be intrested to read how this goes...

I would definately delete that message as it could be from a con artist! You wouldn't believe the amount of email of the similar of this sort!

I think deleting is not enough. More should be done and i pray the tell me what else should you do because he may start expressing himself to you and we know very well that faith comes through hearing and hearing the word of God. So what you hear is build in you. If he continues he will build trust in you and finally you will admit.

It'll be best to ignore such scamers. Normally they are gonna be asking for your account details(very risky) and from thee they can manipulate everything and get your well earned money. A lot of people now in the world got nothing to do good with their lives.Too sad.

If i have nothing? I don't think i have anything to lose but again there are men who know how to get something from nothing.

Well, if you have nothing to lose, say yes.

It's definitely a scam. Simply delete the e-mail and ignore it. It's useless to prove them true, since they send a message like that to millions of people in hopes that they will get some money from the rare people that fall for it.

Hi there, I think you should ignore those emails about Burkino faso or foreign countries. those are scam mails. I've gotten all those type of junk mails. Don't respond and delete those mails. They just want you transfer funds or wire them using Western Union or something. This is something like money laundering which is illegal. It is also can be a Nigerian money scam. Don't do it.

So you mean you are a millionaire? who has nothing or not much? I better be poor than to gain this kind of riches. Don't congratulate me coz if i were real i would not be struggling with cents in mylot or any other online program. Let us work and earn rather than to rush and get quick riches for they too end quickly and others are never gotten.

hi nick Me too reviving this kind of a lots of E mail which is claiming that your e mail id won this sum of amount. Or that person about to die he want to transfer money to you and so on.Do you know what i do. I mark that kind of mail without reading full. I think you should ignore this kind of junk email

I think its a good idea to mark it but do you take any measures against this kind of a person who sends such? In my country here we had such problems especialy with mobile network and mobile money transfer. It happened this way that someone would make a call to you claiming to be a manager of the mobile telephony service provider. He would tell you that in that day they were to choose at random ten numbers to be awarded $1000 because of being loyal to the company. They would then tell you to press a certain code to activate it. This code they give is the service code for money transfer from one phone to another so one will think he is activating a service yet he is transferring money to another electronically. After investigations the police here realized that some criminals who were being detained in the maximum prisons were responsible for such so we were left worried If they can do that to even earn millions of money while under arrest and already jailed what if they would be free? What can we do to stop this Damani maru

Don't waste any time about the email because it's fake. A man who worked that hard will not easily gave all his fruits to an unknown man from another foreign country. Large numbers given and easily presented is a pseudo act of fakers.

No doubt, it's a scam, no test needed. Ignore that.
