pregnancy prevention

I have read an article in yahoo about one of the asian countries having around half a million of aborted babies. ow.. how pathetic these babies are.
That made me ask why on earth they did not prevent pregnancy? I search the net about how to prevent pregnancy and i found a site about it.

Most adults only want to enjoy themselves but they never think of the consequences. It is really sad that many innocent babies are dying because of the sinful act.

No form of birth control is 100% effective. Especially younger people are not all that experienced at using birth control. They can make mistakes and a lady could hear from a boyfriend " You would get pregnant if we ...". A couple can run out of birth control and take a risk. In some places birth control isn't available or it is unaffordable. In China until recently they had a one child policy so getting pregnant a second time would have ended in abortion or giving to an orphanage. In the Philippines the Catholic church doesn't approve of birth control.
In my home country at secondary teenagers receive much information on birth control. One of my friends when she was age 19 years old got pregnant. This was a surprise since she used two types of birth control. No lady has an abortion and takes this decision lightly. Some ladies have an abortion and heavily regret it. I wouldn't ever have an abortion. I feel sorry for all the aborted babies. They are now the missing people of the world. It is sad some ladies desperately want a baby whilst other ladies have an abortion. In the 1960s in my home country unwanted babies got adopted into a loving family.
