Hi myLotters. I hope everyone is having a vary charming day. Harry Potter is again in the limelight as Warner brothers released the last part of the seven-part series. Everyone is a fan. Who wouldn't want to live in a very magical and mystical world of wizardry in high school? I guess every one in my age of 25, would want to go back to their high school days, right? Even more when we infuse this with witchcraft and all that mysticism. What I would like you myLotters to think about is which SPELL or CHARM in the Harry Potter World would most likely be useful to you and you wish to learn? For me, I could give 3 of them that would surely bring fun and hopefully be useful to my life right now. "Confundus"- used to confuse opponent Not that I want to confuse a lot of people. Haha. This would serve useful to me at times when I know I'm not right but still I want to stay on what I believe and if defending this idea would make a li'l bad, I would still use this spell. "Reparo"- repairs things I could play handyman everytime but the truth is I break a lot of things because I tend to do hands-on first on things before reading the manuals. Haha. "Expecto Patronum"-Creates a Patronus And finally, you never know when an ally becomes handy. So gear up with a patronus^^ How about you myLotters what are those spells and charms? Feel free to google the list of spells to help you answer my thingamabob. And DON'T LIMIT YOURSELF^^

Hi cybersmith! Looks like you're still under the HP spell. I saw the movie and I wasn't very impressed. There are a lot of things missing in the book. I especially did not like its epilogue. Oh well! Anyway, regarding your topic... What spell would be most useful to me? Reparo would be good, I guess since I tend to break stuff in the house often! It would also be cool if I would have the elder wand! Bwahahahaha!!

Hi beingwell. How are you today? Not that I don't agree on your opinion about the last part of the series, but Isn't it already a cliche to say that you cannot put everything from this 37-chapter book including the epilogue and fit it to a two-part (summing up to 4 hours and 36 mins)film? I guess more often than not, anyone would choose the book than the film. But I'm such a fan, so screw the book. teehee I love that you chose reparo as well. And your thing about the elder wand. hmm. What motives do you have missy? haha. just playin' But seriously, hope you could tell more on what you're planning with the elder wand or how you're gonna use it. Thanks for the response and have a great day^^

My personal list of favorite spells and charms would go a long way! :) I like "accio" a lot, because sometimes I'm too lazy to get up to get something. Haha! I can just shout "accio food!" anytime I want. LOL. :) And also, it would be very useful when some things are missing or lost. I always misplace my cellphone and I try to call my own number so I could hear where the ringing is coming from. But with "accio", it would be so much easier. I'd also love to use reparo. I've had a few things I'd like to get repaired. My sony handycam, sony digital camera, my old cellphone, etc. I would love to fix my eyesight too. HAHA! Lumos would also be helpful, but it's just like a "flashlight" in the muggle world. Although the good thing is we don't have to buy batteries anymore. :) Alohomora would be helpful for me too because I always leave the keys inside my locked room. Haha! I'd also love to use Expecto Patronum to conquer my fears. I have quite a few of them. :) Hmm, what else... I guess I have a lot more, but it'll just take time to list them all. :)

Woah pink piglet. you have quite a list and i'm loving every single one of them.i agree that alohomora would really be useful. i have a follow up question though. when you would use your patronum(and they take animal forms, like Harry's is a Stag)which shape do you think would it take? also, what are some of your fears in this muggle world that we live in? thanks and have a fearless day ahead.^^

well for me i think "accio" spell would work very well. i'm a bit anxious of getting up to reach for something so using accio spell would really spare my tasks much easier. besides i got a lot of things on hand to finish everyday and using that spell would make everything even better for me. haha. how i wonder having things on my hand without too much effort, just as instant! it will be terrific and fun! haha. anyway happy mylotting!

My favorite spell is Wingardium Leviosa. We always say this spell way back in high school. It became an expression back then. It really brings back good memories.

Hi cybersmith. I agree that 'Reparo' would be very useful, but I'd also love to be able to use 'Scourgify' to clean things! Other than that, either an undetectable extension charm, or the 'reducio' charm would be amazingly useful, to carry more things. Of course, everyone wants to be able to use 'Accio' because we're all lazy at heart! The Point-Me spell that Harry uses in Goblet of Fire would stop us ever getting lost again, and of course the Fidelius charm could be useful for sensitive information. Thanks for an interesting discussion

When I read the Harry Potter books and when I watch the Harry Potter movies I want to study in Hogwarts. This is one of my dreams. I was read all of the books and I was watch all of the movies and I think the best spells for me are Expelliarmus, Expecto Patronum and Stupefy. I want to be a wizard and I want to use this magics. If this is real, it was be fantastic!

This is quite easy. Accio would make life much easier. A self writing quill would be freakin awesome! Being able to Apparate would evidently be the best. But the most useful, even though its forbiddon, would be Imperio - not to do anything evil, it would just make doing stuff much easier like passing my driving test! lol
