I am slightly overweight. The lower part of my body has too much fat.But the upper part is normal. My hands are thin. What kind of clothes should I wear to cover my tummy?

I suggest you wear loose shirt and the long ones but not that long enough to cover your tummy though. But as long as your comfortable with what you are wearing then its good enough.

I will try it.I think you are right the matter of comfortable feeling comes first.

Definitely empire cuts and tunic! They tend to float away from your midsection. Pick out roomy tunics and DO NOT buy those clingy jersey clothing, they show every curve and bulge! Make sure to wear a more fitted bottom or jeans if you wear roomy or flowy tops so you won't look overwhelmed by the volume that you're wearing; you do not want to look overly big and bulky. You can also wear a wide belt to hide your midsection. Also, avoid big bold patterns! Remember NO fitted clothing, especially bondage dresses...I swear only models can get away with those!

I have always heard that darker colors make one look smaller. I would go with maybe a dark pair of pants or skirt and a light top. Like white or something pastel. Don't want them to be too tight either. They should fit a little loose to get the full effect. Not too loose though.
