I have been trying in the last six months to lose weight. I have tried all sorts of diets in the past and lost weight on some of them and actually gained weight on some. Well I thought I would try and just count my calorie intake and exercise. It worked...I am starting to feel like my old (not meaning age lol) self again. I have had back trouble also and since I lost the weight my back feels 100% better. So after years of dieting, the most simple one worked and I am now stopping eating when I am full instead of continuing because something tastes soooo good. And the other day a women about 80 years old winked at me...lol So have you tried to lose weight? Have you had success? What method did you us?

Hahahahahahahaha...yes that wouldbe nice lol. The only way I lost weight was to count my calorie intake and I had to learn to push the plate away when I was full. Alot of times I keep eating because something tastes real good and not because I was hungry. Anyway my doctor told me to eat no more than 2000 calories daily and to exercise and I would lose weight safely, and it worked. The challenge was sticking to it. Oh, what was that? O...it's just another women whistling at me. lol

Congrats on your weight loss. Its not easy to lose weight and keep it off. I'm getting ready to start counting calories, as I joined the gym to exercise. Today I was on the bike for 30 minutes and walked for 30 minutes. My goal is an hour a day of moderate exercise.

Good for you menace730 for losing weight and feeling better. You should be very proud of yourself and should feel privileged to be winked at by an older woman. I have never had to lose any weight, but I have had relatives that had a really difficult losing the weight. I am very happy that you found the diet that worked for you. People spend huge amounts of money on weight loss to get nowhere. Good discussion.
