Telling someone something that you WANT them to repeat

Have you ever intentionally told someone something because you wanted them to go running off and repeating it? I did this at work today. I said something to a little snitch that I work with hoping he goes back and tells my boss. I don't care if he tells my boss I said it. I want him to tell him I said it. It is something I want my boss to know and I want him to see what a little rat this guy is at the same time. Killing 2 birds with one stone I guess.

Hi lilybug! Yeah, I might have done something like that before. I remember the feeling of saying to myself "I couldn't care less!". I really hate suckers. They spread their ears and whenever they hear something they think is "essential", they would immediately go to the boss to tell it. It's like gossiping and spying at the same time. We have people like that here in our office. It sucks to hell. You have a lot of people to be careful with here because they suck the hell out of the big boss. It's really worth raising the eyebrows and giving a snort.

I could tell my boss all sorts of terrible things this guy says about him, but I won't. I am sure somebody will tell him. Some of it is pretty bad.

Don't you just LOVE people who are like this? We have one where I work, and it makes me wonder what they are really trying to accomplish. When they can slough off, this is OK, but don't them that be you, or they go up and tattle. The problem is the day they do this when your results are published on the board, like they do with the calls we take in our Call Center, my name was still above his. Go figure.

Maybe this person should spend more time doing his job and less time worrying about how you are doing yours. Or from the sounds of it he should be taking lessons from you!

Some time repeat something but not intentionally if my husband not heard my voice then repeat. But if repeat many times then they feel irritated so I avoid repeatation.
