How vitamin suplements are created: which ones to choose.

Not all vitamin supplements are created equally. Vitamin sources are either created from their original food sources or chemically synthesized. In the act of processing, vitamins maybe synthesized, crystallized, or lyophilized. The first two processes uses extreme heat, and as a result, any beneficial qualities once present are most likely lost and the process of binding the vitamin in a tablet is so strong that the body's enzyme cannot dissolve it. Consequently, the tablet is passed through the gastrointestinal tract without ever being absorbed. Therefore it is recommended that any vitamin supplement taken be in the form of powdered substance in a gel capsule for easy digestion and absorption. Taken in concentrated form, vitamin, mineral and protein supplements can actually block the absorption rate of other essential nutrients, thereby negating any positive effects.

There are many different types of vitamin, each has its own ingredient. Yes, too much vitamin supplement will have negative effect on our body instead of positive, it is always a bad idea to have "too much" supplement taken into our body unless we are suffering from deficiency due to our inability to produce naturally. Instead of provide benefit to our well being, the extra vitamin supplement may cause inreversable damages to our body natural growth and various cellulose production.

Yes, you are right, most vitamin supplements are not created the same. But what we take is not synthetic because its not good for the body. What we take as food supplements are herbal supplements which are capsules made out of rice so that the body can easily absorb it and your kidneys are still safe. My family and I only trust Tiens products as supplements which is also favored by our doctor.
