Rat trap

We used to have mice in my mom's house. I remember how they smelled. We tried to rid ourselves of them but they are tough. We set traps and that did the trick for awhile or so we thought. They do tend to multiply. You really have to stay on it and keep the traps all over. There are so many so quickly.

I also use to do in the same way. Keeping rat poison will cause further problems. In fact now when we go back to our home after nearly six months the rats would have made a hell in my flat. We use to keep "masala vada" instead of tomatoes. They get attracted for the aroma surrounding vada made with onion and masala. U can keep a portion of samosa also.

dear dada, I will come and chase that mice away We have this paper stick,where little mice sticks once they step on it. This is very effective and that is what i use when i saw a mice running here and there (ewwwww...they looks cute -the small ones but i don't like them running inside my house ugh!) Hmmmm I also face this problem and lots of mice in my bedroom also so thanks to share this discussion and I dont know about tomato so thanks once again for giving nice way to catch the mice. I was putting some pieces of chapati so sometime rat is goes inside and once rat enters it trapped automatically. But now only 1 or 2 mice in hour house but lizards (Chipkali) is more. Tell me the lizards solution.

I think the best way to rid the house of mice and rats is to deny them of food, tell your maids not to leave food scraps in the kitchen and clean or pick up what the children drop on the floor. Also keep the garbage or trash can well covered so as not to attract these pests, In my case I also have a resident cat. If there are already mice then I think that trap would be just fine, I use to have one like that but what I have observed, after catching and using it several times, the rats become wise, perhaps because of the odor so it has to be soaped and cleaned with hot water, the same holds true with poison, rats seem to detect it after using for some time. I find chicken bones with little meat in it or crab left overs to be a good bait, perhaps because they are attracted by the smell, good luck Prof my friend and hope you catch them all

hello Baba, We don't use rat poison also because I have Cat patrol at home they take care of those rat family . Well maybe you need to give them a cheese so they will not eat your mattress and computer wire . happy mylotting

I saw a mouse when I moved in 4 years ago but my dog Cookie got it. I haven't seen any since then so she is either a very good mouser or they are not attracted to the house. There are also a lot of cats that I feed, feral strays that probably protect the house.

hi professor I am sorry to hear you have a mouse probleme. they are c ute b ut they do carry diseases and one should not have them in our homes. here in Gold Crest I have not seen any mice b ut we had a few cockroaches which they had to get rid of quickly. I love it that you will not kill them just put them back out in nature.hugs form hatley

There's a mice in my home. I put rat trap on it but I used raw meat. When i caught the mice, I will take it outside of my home where my cat slept. But months later, another mice come along I just repeat the process. I don't used poison or mouse trap that squeeze the mouse because it is disgusting and too hard to find when it smells.

Good-noon sir,this mice problem is very horrible.my wife also use trap to catch rats.but you should put some spicy food to attract rat like bread and some pickle on it.and for that bad smell spray some good room freshener in your room.Have a nice day.

Buy a sticky pad, I don't know the correct term. But it really works. Place it on the corner of your house. And watch them stick unto it. It's funny. Just let them stick, and let dem die from starvation or what. Or place a heavy object on them. The latter is like torture. But later, you will realize the damage they are giving to you so show no mercy.
