Cooking for 40 people.

Usually, we have a chef in the company. She would cook for all employees. We will lunch at the company. However, she is busy for the rest in 02 days. Therefore, our hostess will cook. I had to help her. So I became the "chef" within 02 days:) I can cook. But cooking for 40 people is not easy indeed. Because rice and food are all very much. It's difficult to cook them. If not careful, rice can be raw and foods can not be eaten. I also realized one more thing, that is, cooking is actually a hard job.

I'm too. I usually cook at home everyday. I sometimes cook for about 10 people before. But this is the first time I cook for 40 people...

Yeah, cooking is not easy but it's an interesting job. However, cooking for 40 people is not interesting as I thought.

I love to cook and for larger crowds too, but it is not easy and very hard work. More so because I am very diligent and want absolutely everything to come out perfect so I work hard at it when I have had to cook for larger crowds.

I can't imagine cooking for 40 people. Heck I don't even like cooking for just my husband and I. Actually, I don't mind the cooking it's the mess that I need to clean up after we eat. I think it's nice your company offers a service like that. Best Wishes!

SO true - cooking, especially for a lot of people, can be a lot of hard work!! But not only that - it can also be great fun and is an opportunity to really get creative with things, especially if you are able to choose what it is you want to cook. And just think, you can then take all the credit for keeping all the employees happy, fed and satisfied. good luck, hope the cooking goes well!

Cooking for more people is hard, but cooking is not a rocket science. You can learn cooking very easily. All the best.

Yes I do agree cooking is a hard job and one needs talent for cooking. Sadly I don't posses any of the talents :( I wish i could cook good but I'm below average at cooking. Anyway wow 40 people is a lot. I hope you didn't have a hard time cooking.

Even if we are good at cooking it would at the same time be hard because we have palates to be concerned about. And cooking for a lot of people makes it even harder because then again more palates need to be satisfied. But no matter how long the bout is, if we make people happy then we cooks are happy too.

Cooking is hard job for me too if it becomes a duty, and if I am suppose to cook daily even for myself only. But occasionally I love to cook, I love to cook new recipes which I do not get elsewhere easily.
