Selling Old Coins

I am planning to open up and e-bay store and start selling old coins. I have a lot of old coins at home and who knows if I am keeping a "fortune" in one of these coins. I have been thinking of things to sell at e-bay and there, I bump into the coin reserves we have at home. I really hope to make money from this old coins I have. The money that I will be getting from this coins will then be spent into a new business venture I am planning to do soon. Hope this one works for me.

hi joie.
that's a good idea. you might not know it yet but perhaps those old coins are really worth something. i would suggest that you research online to determine the true value of those coins. you may also go to a trusted antique dealer and have them take a look at what you have.
by the way, how'd you get hold of those coins and how many do you have?

the bit about you going to an antique dealer reminds me of that series 'pawn stars'. watched the show a couple of times but was never really hooked to it. anyway, they did have a couple of interesting items sold to them including old coins.

I hope you will have a good business. I would like to let you know that Ebay will charge you some fees every month even if you haven't sold anything yet. As in the past I also tried to sell something via the net but I didn't know this rule. It is too bad that they charged me some fees but I haven't sold anything yet. It makes my cost higher.

It's a nice idea. Old coins can be sold for a big price since some people are collecting it and place it in a museum. It's a good start to sell. I am also in ebay but I don't know what to sell. I hope you will be successful in your plan. Good luck!

If you have old coins that people want then you will be making pretty good money if you have a lot of them. Most coins will sell but some are harder then other I hope you do good with it I do pretty good with buying and selling coins. So I think you will do good!

It would be a great idea.and i think if you have a hug amount of old coin then you are going to be soon very rich.yes it is also matter how much old are they.if they are old just some decades then you have to wait for some more decades.always remember as much old u hav collection,as many money you can get.you can also talk to any auction house regarding this.may be it works.gud luck.
