Is not a shame, I say, it may happen. It may be moments in life when you are broke, even if only for a day or two or for who know how long. It happen to me ... And I am trying to be wise, ever since: time to time I "loose" a banknote - not the most valuable, but not the least one either, a small-average value one - between the files of a book. I do this, in time, with several books, I just try hard not to keep in mind which book is the one. And if once you are temporary broke, just check the books ... So, have you tried this ? Or do you have another way to "cure" the lack of money ?

I always run out of money. It doesn't usually go to stuffs that I can use. My money flows out very fast when there is food involved. Well, I like eating so much (if it won't only make me fat). I tried saving small amounts before. It lasted only for about a month then I spent the money eventually. What I do now is I invested it into something more productive. Where I can have returns and have some earnings.

I was talking bout a sort of emergency cash - hidden banknote into a random book, to be found - after some working hard to find it - and use a ultimate reserve .. Anyway, is a good choice to "save" by doing something is give you a revenue. Interesting idea, i will study it ..

Oh! I have never had such kind of experience before. When it comes to money, I'm very careful with it. I always put all kinds of checks and notes in my wallet. I can't afford to lose a single cent. This kind of attitude has been with me since I was a child. I guess my parents taught me hard that every single cent has a value.

So, you manage good the "no-mater-how-big-or-low-amount-of-income", so good that you always have enough cash and never been in "cash = zero" situation. Congrats, keep it so.

As far as I understand from the above discussion, The cure you are applying, acually is a kind of Saving, that too without any interest on those savings. I do Save but not this way, I save it in the Bank so that I can get some interest with my Savings.

Well, you are right, but is about emergency cash .. would you go to a bank to ask money if you are broke ? You need some money now, what if the bank is closed?
