when madeline mccann went missing, a few days short of her 4th birthday, whilst on holiday with her parents, the world went into complete shock! it was the 3rd of may 2007 when she went missing, and watching her parents turmoil on tv was almost too hard to bare! she had been snatched from their apartment, whilst her parents had left her and her siblings unattended in the room. i'm not one to judge anyone, but leaving young children like that unattended in any respect is a recipie for disaster, let alone the horrible fate that was instore for poor madeline. i have had mixed feelings over this for some time.. i truely believed it to begin with and that i started to doubt her parents body language, they way they spoke, the things they said.. and i wondered had something possibly happened to the poor child and this was a cover up. but the more time that has passed, and how they keep doing everything they can to pile more and more money into the search for their little girl, it's clear to see anyone would have given up the pretence a long time ago. yesterday it was reported that madeline mccann had been spoted in india. an american woman was so sure that the child was madeline mccann that she would not let the french couple that were walking around with her, out her site. it's been all over the news and they are currently waiting for DNA tests results to come back, although Mr and Mrs McCann have looked at photographs of the child and have said that it is not Madeline.. that is a real shame, or maybe years of being apart from their daughter and practically giving up hope, has made them believe nothing would ever be their daughter. what are your views on this?

Wow, I hadn't heard about this. That's really sad that the parents left the children unattended. I would never leaver little girl by herself, even if other children were around and they were all asleep! The world is an evil place and you just never know what may happen. It's even sadder, however, if the parents were in on the horrible act and, from the sound of what you're saying, sold their little girl. As I sad, the world is an evil place and you never know what sick, twisted things people have intentions on doing.

i don't really think they did anymore. its gone on too long. they've both put so much of their savings into a campaign to try and find her, and i'm assuming if they had sold her and made money, they wouldn't shovel that money back into trying to find her surely? i don't know it all seems rather strange to be honest. and then someone "spotted" a girl that looked just like madeline, and they said no it wasn't her, after pictures, even without DNA being carried out yet. ok fair enough they probably no to look at the photo's it isn't their daughter, but jesus if my child had been missing that long, i'd be flying over there to double check myself!!
