I think that traveling can be very relaxing and really enjoyable. I love to take photos, chat to local people, speak with other travelers and see native wildlife. Going by train is my favorite way to travel. Earlier this summer I traveled to Colombia's north coast and spent a relaxed time looking around the old town and spending time on the Caribbean beaches. Last year I traveled to British Columbia which I found beautiful. It was relaxing to travel by train on Vancouver Island.

I totally agree with you..Travelling is something tht is necessary for every one but these days evey one is engagedin their own hectic works , and many are avoiding travelling due to lack of time... Very glad to hear your travelling memories of Colombia's north coast and also the Caribbean beaches, which might have put a small financial expenditure but the happiness gained is more than the money spent... do yo agree....

I love traveling!! It can get stressful though and that part, I do not like. However, I have found that the more you prepare before you leave and look at what all is near where you are staying, then it makes it less stressful. As a photographer, I always have my camera with me! I love to be able to capture things that I can share with my family and friends the different things that I was able to see and experience

Hi busybee10, travelling to scenic spots with fascinating landscapes which we are really favorite is the pleasant thing to get us refreshed after months of hard work. Me too the camera is always along with me when going out With this great device we still could enjoy those beautiful and unforgettable memories during our vacation watching the precious pictures snatched We usually would go on a few days vacation thrice a year in some local attractive scenic sites. I would like to travel to oversea places if it's affordable Happy posting and have a nice day!

Vow, you have very nicely described about travelling. Yes,visiting scenic spots with fascinating landscapes fills us with lot of energy. Me too prefer to go into the himalayas where there is no human race - but will totally be with MOTHER NATURE. A couple of years back I had been to the birth place of River Ganga - which was my childhood dream. It is in Gangotri and we have to walk around 18 kms trecking.....

Yes,I too have a couple of good travel experiences. Travel lessens our stress, sometimes refreshes us and rejuvenates also. We should travel once in two or three years.

I've done just a few traveling myself, too. I remember we went to a far down south part of our country, and we did some mountain climbing. And guess what? It was my first time to climb a mountain! And the thing is, this is the highest peak in my country! But still, of course I had to endure. Otherwise, they would have left me somewhere in the woods, or just die falling off the cliff. After that particular trip, I was ultimately refreshed. I felt better, and handled stress even better.

Vow, that was so wonderful to note...your trip explained - made me to go to my most memoraable trip in my life and that was the birth place of River Ganga. I had to cross seven glaciers with all small paths just to fit a human beings feet... and round rocks which were slippery and finally to walk on big and sharp stones for 18 long kms...it was just a life's rare experiences... This really invoked into me the real courage of going forward in life... Thanks for your kiknd response...

Hi busybee10. I love travelling a lot, i too like to take along my camera with me.. But only when i go to tour.. Because usually i travel daily, coz my working place is little long distance from my place.. I will capture natural scenery like sunrise, sunset and breezy climates like many things.. Also I'll capture videos and i'll add some additional effects by using combustion software.. Recently i captured a photos of hills while sunset.. Reddish sky and the beautiful mountain touches my heart at that moment.. I have captured it and shown to my family and friends. Have a nice day my friend

Travelling does make one feel more relaxed and stress free. Our life does need some changes and when we go to new places we do feel more relaxed and fresh. The joy, the excitement and the friends around us make us feel really nice. More so there is no work there so we can just enjoy life to the fullest and forget about all the worries in life. Travelling is a nice way to destress ourselfs and a trip to a close by place is the best way to do so. It is not necessary that we always travel to far of places and things like that. As a matter of fact if we choose close places we reach there quickly and are able to enjoy the place even more and we will not end up being tired due to a long time spent while travelling..
