Sometimes I just draw a blank

I'm always working online, when I have a little free time, that is. I have a few blogs that I'm working on and some of the content is easy to manage, A fact about this or that and an opinion. that's not so hard. It's the content that needs imagination that sometimes is difficult to come by. sometimes I feel like there just aren't that many topics left to discuss. Sometimes I even feel like that here at myLot. I have to say though, that reading some of the discussions here has given me some new material. For that I say thank you myLot. Does anybody else have the same problem? Do you run out of things to write about?

i can honestly say no. i never, ever run out of things to talk about. i am a mass of useless infortmation, a weathly of useless facts, and the worlds biggest collection of general knowledge and trivia. i think at 100miles an hour, and i change those thoughts just as fast. i have an opinion on everything, strong beliefs and morals, and a constant need to express yourself. but, if i can help? you can write about me. i suppose i could resign myself to being your muse ;) lol!

There are a lot of times where I know there is something in the creative well. It is just the matter of getting the bucket down there and that could be a problem. I think that we all draw those blanks and rather get an unfortunate spell of writer's block to say the least. It is a rather ugly thing when this happens and when we are a writer, it is frustrating. I think a lot of the times, its not running out of things to write about, it is exactly what strategy I want to write those things. There are a lot of times where I have thrown out entire articles or blog posts, because it did not flow right, and another draft it did. It is not a matter for me for having things to write about, it is exactly how to write about it. That can be the biggest component of drawing a blank.

Yeah, I guess it do happens to me too.Sometimes I have thought of a topic to discuss and it's already in my mind, but when I started writing my mind goes blank.Maybe the next time I should make a draft first so I won't forget. Reading discussions and comments do give us ideas too on what to post, a kind of refresh our memory.

Hi Flash! I'm also one of those who found myLot as a good place to brainstorm. myLot has a variety of interests and topics to discuss about and it never runs out. Actually I have learned many things just staying here. There many discussions that are so insightful and inspirational. I usually spend time here before doing other tasks because it's some kind of warming up my mind. I see that myLot has been very useful as well in so many ways.

MyLot means not only good fan, discussions, knowledge and earning but also contacts. When you work on line contacts are necessary to make your business grow. I love mylot because I have learnt so many things during this short being here. Also I met so many incredible people.

Yep, I've been blanked before. There was a time when I couldn't even type anything because I got nothing to say. When I try to respond to other discussions, I also can't summon any wits up my head. When I realize I'm at that point, I just quit myLotting and just take a quick rest. I'm sure it has something to do with my brain cells running out.

I believe that's what you call writer's block. Yes I've been through it before. It sucks. The topic is right there, and it's something that should be easy to write. But hey, remember your brain sometimes gets a little tired, and sleeps off a bit. But you gotta admit, sometimes you get hit by a brilliant idea that you and your readers will actually attest to that.

It's only here in MyLot that I'm able to start and respond to a lot of discussions, often in the Life and People categories as my knowledge to other things are very limited. I just write about what I know, what I've experienced, how I feel at times, my hopes and dreams, what my opinion on other people's ideas, what it's like to be a single parent, about my son who has hyperactivity and articulation disorders, making money online, etc. It's like writing on a journal and I've been writing on journals ever since I was fourteen. It's my source of relief and it's my freedom, something that nobody can prohibit. Though I don't always get to write everyday since not much really happens that would trigger my brain juice to flow like crazy, I just try to live my life the best way I knew how and connect with people. I'm very fond of listening to people tell stories about their lives. It's how you know that life is fatally unpredictable.

You bet ,Flash2 . Everybody run out of words if he keeps writing something meaningful . And i am not an exception . I still remember the uncomfortable moment on writing class when iwas required to write a composition about something i am not familiar to or not interesting . It took me several hours to write something awful .With scratching over my head and biting my ballpen ,i couldn't figure out appropriate material . Even though my teacher told me that practice makes perfect ,how could i make progress by practising in a boring way ?

Oh yes, there are times when I feel empty in my mind. I have no interesting subject to write about. But it is easily solved. Go on other websites read and enjoy. I get inspiration by reading what other people have written. There are always something to debate about or bring up into a discussion. It is lovely to know other people's points of views.

You got that right Flash! I myself feels the same way most of the time. And myLot is a big help when my mind goes blank. I can browse discussions according to my interests and that just fuel me up with new ideas on what to write on blogs. Keep posting!
