Ok if you haven't seen this video yet you have to watch it! I have dogs and they play and fall over and tackle each other.. BUT I have never seen this.. I am still laughing just thinking of it. This dog is a COMIC GENIUS! http://youtu.be/kwdMzBMlQgA This is 2 springer spaniels, ONE older and the other a 9 month old puppy with a flare for the dramatic! Have you ever seen anything so hilarious?

Except both my girls, even passive Ciara, won't even pretend to back down.. In fact one day I'd love to get a video of Ciara using her body to block her sister as Penny comes barreling down on her, it's hilarious... Thank for thinking of me when you saw this though, because I love watchign dogs and their antics...

Are you sure this animal doesn't have narcelespsy? It looked like those goats that keel over and fall asleep. That was pretty cute. Thanks for sharing the video. I haven't seen dogs do this but I have seen goats who do this. Does this Springer have some goat in his lineage?

Ya, they don't look like Spaniels to me at all. I wonder if a dog could get narcolepsy.

I suppose most animals can.

OMG! That is exactly what I thought when I saw it.. she looked like those fainting goats.. because her legs got all stiff and then she fell over.. it's hilarious.. Actually looking closer at the video, they look like 2 English Setters.. the New clip I watched said they were spaniels.. but looking at the tails.. I think they are setters.. Not that that makes a difference.. I still don't think they mix with fainting goats... lmao

The dogs are so lovely, how could they be so cute! I always figure the dogs are not just like dog, an animal, they are so smart and have their own thoughts. They can communicate with each other, and with human either. When I see their eyes, I can feel happy, sunshine, love, smart, friend, etc, and I can't help loving them.

This video is so funny! That pup definitely has a flair for the dramatic, haha. This video also led to me spending another 15 minutes on youtube looking at other videos of dogs doing similar things. Addicting!

That is just too funny. Pets can be the most amazing beings to watch, I wonder if she was taught or saw this and decided that it was fun to do. The pup has way too much energy like all pups and the older spaniel just knows how to make this work. Thanks for the link.

I doubt she was taught it.. the people taping it seemed to be quite surprised. But my goodness she does have some excess energy.. I think that is what made it so funny is that she was zipping around at hyper speed and then just that dramatic Pause and falling over like that only to get back up and start zipping around. It's the funniest thing I have seen in a long time!!

I own three Sharpea. Yes, the antics of dogs in general is hilarious. Our oldest dog, now 12 years old used to play with his father by attacking him then run toward the couch, through himself down, belly up rendering his father helpless for a reverse attack! The video here is the younger dog encouraging the older one to start playing by rewarding him by giving him (the kill). Dogs do think deeper than we will ever know!
