the weekend - celebrate the weekend!!

my partner and i were so tired on sunday, that when we got up we felt like going straight back to bed again lol. we got the puppy fed, cat fed and let out, and doggy fed and just the usual morning routine and decided we didn't really feel in the mood to go anywhere, so we would just have a wee lazy day together. so upon deciding that our lazy day would consist of nothing but film watching, rather thna junk tv.. we settled down. the first movie we decided to watch was the tunnel, about a journalist who goes to investigate underground rail tunnels in australia, only to find something is hunting her.. so that had us on the edge of our seats lol! we then decided to watch insidious, which has been in the cinemas recently, about a house that becomes haunted, and its not the house thats haunted it turns out to be their little boy. gripping stuff. really good watch! the main "demon" was a little stupid and unbelieveable, but the way the film was done and how jumpy it was etc, was amazing! we then watched the mechanic after feeling like our horror fest needed to end lol! thats a good film with jason statham who is a hit man! really good watch, and good twist at the end so you really need to see that. and finally we capped it all off with a reece witherspoon and paul rudd rom-com, how do you know, in which a girl falls for a blind date :) we punched on french toast for breakie, and sour cream crinkle cut crisps, and dairymilk caramel bars, and instead of eating a proper dinner, we made hot dogs with onions and relish.. delish! we took the rest of the evening into the bedroom ;) lol so that was our lovely, chilled out, and quality time sunday. what did everyone else do this weekend? and did anyone see any good films?

Hi! I actually have downloaded a lot of movies in the past few weeks and I was waiting for my schedule to clear up so I can have a movie marathon. But that kind of free time still has yet to come. I was able to watch Let Me In during the weekend but I could not watch it continuously because of too many distractions. I have also downloaded Grown Ups, Green Lantern, Fast and Furious 5, and SP: The Movie (a Japanese movie). The first two I have already watched but not on the same day. While the last two, I still haven't watched. I planned to watch it during the weekend but I had a lot of things to do. I envy you for being able to have a movie marathon.

Every weekend night is a family movie time for us. But sometimes it would only leave me and my son alone watching movies while husband is out with relatives drinking and would come home only when we're all asleep. We just watch movies on HBO or Star MOvies or whatever good is out there on cable tv. My son and i would usually hit the bed at 8 and just watch tv till we fall asleep. By the way, he's still sleeping on his own bed now and the only time we get to sleep on the same bed is on weekend at my parents' because he's got no room there.

I do this on weekends since the television shows are boring. I watched latest movies like Transformers dark moon and etc.. It is very good for relaxing and killing the time. Buy originals or watch it online or in cinema. Happy watching and have a popcorn. :-)

My mom and I went to go see Friends With Benefits at the movies. Really good film and I definitely recommend it! It's not the usual "romantic comedy", and it isn't afraid to make fun of all the usual cliches that happen in that movie genre. The characters were also given pretty good depth for the type of movie it was. I laughed out loud a lot, and the two hours seemed to FLY by. Didn't feel like two hours at all. Also, shirtless and hilarious Justin Timberlake and half naked Mila Kunis - perfection :)

No I haven't seen it yet, but I hear it's awesome and really really funny. Hoping to rent it soon and watch it. Friends With Benefits was awesome. Definitely not the typical type of movie, but still really good.

I did not see any good films.....I watch a bit of tv though and seemed to have gotten hooked on watching Hoarders on Sunday nights! Otherwise I worked this weekend. Not to much fun but necessary.

aww dear. i think everyone should set aside 2 hours, one day a week, just to watch a film.. it's a great way to relax but keep your mind active at the same time. i prefer watching a film to a tv show because i think following the story and the plotline, and actually having something lengthly and detailed to watch can still keep your brain active! whats hoarders?
