What are u doing when u cant sleep?

So what are u doing? Before asleeping and when u cant sleep. Before i asleep, im thinking too much( about my problems, about my bf, family and more) , im dreaming about my future life or im listening music from my phone... And when i cant sleep i think also, sometimes i walk in my room or i go out on balcon..tell me about your ways:)

I personally have to take the max amount of prescription meds to sleep. I don't know if your that bad but I know it sucks really bad. I usually get up and walk around sometimes get on the computer. If those don't help i go for a small jog. Hope this helps.

If i can't sleep, i usually stare at the ceiling and think of some boring stuffs. Sometimes i listen to slow music or the worst part is, i talk to myself. hehe :)

I have a lot of trouble sleeping. I wake many times at night. Sometimes its to get my crying baby calmed down, but most times its because I have nightmares and cannot get back to sleep. So, I write, or read, or, sometimes, watch a little tv or part of a movie. Every once in awhile I go online and work on my earnings sites.

Yes, sometimes i can't sleep well because of my son, too. Sometimes, kid just seems easily wakes-up and demanding for drink or even wanting to go to the toilet.

I just start thinking about everything when i can't sleep.Whether it is what my day was like what i think it will be like tomorrow,me thinking about commericials or tv shows or people that i barely know.When i can't sleep nothing is off limits for me to think about.

Yeah, I used to have that exact same problem. I would lie in bed for hours before I fell asleep. I suggest that you try getting up really really early. Go for a morning run, and use that time to think about your life. If you're not so good at running, try the couch to 5k program which helps me. http://www.coolrunning.com/engine/2/2_3/181.shtml Because you're waking up super early, and burning off excess sleep energy, it should make you more tired in the evenings. It has for me anyway. Also you've got that hour or so to yourself where you can think about things. You'll have already pondered your life before the day even begins, so you'll feel more prepared for the day too. Good luck. I hope you can sort it out. If you're really struggling, your doctor might be able to give you some tablets to help you sleep.

Well before I try to go to sleep I read most of the time or try writing my thoughts down.I have trouble sleeping also.

I just hate it when I cannot sleep and I toss and turn and it seems like all the problems I have are magnified at 3 AM! The only thing to do is get out of bed and read a book or watch a movie until I get tired and can sleep. It is no use lying in bed tossing and turning. If necessary I take a sleeping pill but that is very rare.

Yes it is a very big problem what we can do when we can’t feel sleep. I always listen music when I can’t sleep and also play some game on my computer. Because it’s a good way for me to make my time usable. But mostly I like to listen some classical music at that time and after some time I feel sleep. So that is a good way for me to doing something when I can’t sleep.

I was barely sleeping at all til my doctor gave me a sleeping aid. I would sit up and watch movies, play games online, or work on my cross stitch. sometimes I would start feeling like I could go to sleep as husband was getting up to go to work at 4 am. i feel I am wired wrong because of working many various evening and late night shifts. I would not sleep now if I did not have the sleeping pill. Best of luck to you.

When i can not sleep i just do something on the PC as mylotting or any such thing. Sometime i start to play games on PC. But reading is the best option to make you sleep specially your course books. During my college days i found them very boring and i just went to sleep as soon as I open them.

I always see to it that I'm done with my evening prayers before going to bed. If still I can't sleep I used to grab a magazine and browse it or try to read an article. Then I would turn off the lights on our room. But if I can't still sleep, I would play with the games on my cellphone and eventually I fell asleep.

I never had the habit of sleeping early.I spend this time watching movies,listening to music,browsing Mylot and study(when i have exams).I finally come to bed at around 3 AM and wake up at 10 AM.But,i will have to change my timings coz my college will be re-opening soon.

maybe i am one lucky person to not have that hard time in getting myself to sleep. all i have to do is close my eyes and think of nothing then i find myself sleeping deeply. but there are times in where i cant sleep, it usually happens when there are mathematical computations running in my mind. all i do is solve that problem then i can sleep well.

I online when I can't sleep and before asleep. That is my habit for many years about 5-6 years. Actually I can't live without the internet. Insomnia is bad to our health, it gives poor energy the next morning and when you are working you will tend to fall asleep, is that happening to you?

When I can't sleep I do turn the pc on and read some messages and open some news online. I would snack something so that I can get relax a bit and when my eyes are already tired, I would jump next to bed as I turn off the computer. But when I feel so lazy to get up when in the middle of my sleep I wake up, I would just start to think of things that I will do for tomorrow and its like that I am organizing myself of what to do until I get back to sleep.

A pleasant day to you RedSunny, For the past few days, I really find it hard to sleep. Even I go to bed early since my eyes are too sleepy, still, I cannot sleep quickly. I still spend two more hours to fall sleep. And whenever I encounter this situation, I do pray the rosary. As this really helps me a lot to fall asleep easily. The moment I started this, my eyes will surely fall asleep and will feel sleepy. With reference to the above, as they say, whenever we pray the rosary prayer, it really gives us peace and rest, as whenever we are sleep, we find peace and rest on it. I am not sure if rosary prayer is applicable at your end, but, one thing you can do to fall asleep easily, try to recite a small prayer, maybe with this, you can easily fall asleep. Have a nice and good sleep my friend.

Hi redsunny. If can't sleep I turn on my laptop and surf awhile,download from torrents or watch youtube videos. Other times if I can't sleep I just think of something else. But usually you'll find me in front of my laptop. Happy lotting:)

for while i didn't sleep well. these days when i go out somewhere i find it harder to sleep than if i have just been relaxing at home, as my brain starts working too fast. and then i find i just have to wait for it to wind down, and not encourage it, so i ignore it. i just try to think about nothing. i find thinking about something very boring works very well. a few years ago when i couldn't sleep i used to list in my head all the members of parliament in the consituencies closest to where i lived, and trust me, that worked, i got to sleep very very quickly. i haven't tried that recently, but i think thinking of something very boring can work.
