What is easier - to loose or to gain weight?

Most of us discuss and exchanged ideas on what is more easier, is it gaining weight or losing? As far as I know gaining weight is much easy to do because by eating a lot of carbo and sweets and never had an exercise you will gain your weight very fast. You what is your stand?

In my part it is really hard for me to gain weight, even though I eat lots of carbo and all foods I like but nothing happens. But most of the females, they're having a hard time to loose weight..

That will depend on your body!!! As rule of thumb, most plump people find its easy to lose weight. They just find it hard to keep it off. As for slim people, they would mostly find it very difficult to gain weight no matter how much they ate...:)

Loosing weight is work, whichever way you look at it, whether its exercise or diet, you have to work so hard to achieve your goals. The temptations of wanting to stop the whole programs are many because of the tiring tasteless diets, and exercises. It all depends on you and if you want it work. You need determination and commitment for you to lose wait.

Gaining weight is always easier because you gain while eating what you like. You cant gain by eating the things you detest but your sweat delicious foods. That's why you cant even realize you are adding weight until you have a few kilos on you.

I have tried both. I think it would depend on your body's metabolism. I was able to lose weight and I find it easier compared to gaining weight. However, I was trying to gain quality weight which means gaining weight by muscles and not through fats.

according to me its not tat we loose or gain weight . it all depends upon body structure or it can also be an heriditary. sometimes it is easy to gain weight than loosing weight or vice-versa. it all depends on your body whether it is capable or not.. :D

Yea i agree with you. I think it is true that gaining weight is much more easier than losing weights. We can gain weights by eating nutritious food that are of high calories. Examples are whole-gain breads, vegetables, wheat germs meats and so on. We can also gain weight by avoiding skipping meals. Eating bananas with oatmeal is also a good idea to increase weight. Losing weight needs lots of techniques, people do lots of exercises to lose weight. People also diet to lose weight. But it takes time for them to lose weight.

In my experience I was having a very hard time trying to gain weight during my teens because I was naturally skinny. They said I was okay but still I didn't like it. Losing has never been a problem for me. Now i don't have problems with gaining or loosing anymore because it seems that my body itself can maintain the ideal figure and weight.

i think i agree with you, gaining weight is easier than loosing weight. But for some people with eating disorder maybe gaining weight is harder than loosing weight.
