I hope it is still Christmas...

Do you also have a feeling that you hope it is still Christmas and when Christmas is still a few months away you keep anticipating and that you eagerly long that it is actually Christmas already? I do! It's neither the gifts nor the parties, but the spirit of Christmas that just makes me feel so happy. In fact I have here a wall clock with Santa on it playing Christmas tunes at each hour that strike. I don't know, it just gives a good feeling that for the whole year round I wish it is Christmas.

I miss Christmas too when I am not home. In my husband's country, they don't celebrate Christmas as like we there in the Philippines. He experienced Christmas there and thought it was really fun and solemn. It is even more difficult to miss Christmas when you are away... But it is just a few months away so don't worry Christmas will be on our doors in no time.

Oh, you should at least come home some day for Christmas. It is really fun to celebrate it here I guess because the whole family gets together.

I love Christmas as well. I do feel, however that some people forget the real true meaning of it, and they make it all about gifts. Christmas should be about the birth of Jesus, what it means for us, and celebrating with loved ones.

i really love Christmas because of the spirit of kindness and joy, but i have a number of people that expect gifts and when you dont have much money, it is difficult.

Oh don't mind them. If it is the most important thing for them at Christmas then it is up to them if they are too bothered by it. Sometimes you can't understand why people are like that. Some can't even wait. They have to ask you for something not thinking if you might not be able to afford any gifts for them. Just be happy on Christmas day. It is the spirit of kindness and joy and they should be kind to you to not to expect material things on Christmas day. Unless they are children then it is okay.

I do look forward to Christmas each year. This year I have my snowmen still up that I set up each year as I just wasn't in the mood to take them down last year. I think that some people forget the real meaning of Christmas, but it is a fun time of year. I enjoy Christmas music all year long and was thinking yesterday that I would like to see some Christmas shows.

Christmas is fun but at the same time it can be so depressing. Especially for people like me who are away from home So no, I don't wish that it's still christmas because it makes me miss home more

Oh I am sorry to hear it is that way for you. But that's all right. Someday you will still be with them and I am sure you could call them anytime you want. And your friends will be there for you too. Just be happy. The spirit of Christmas will always be there for you.

I feel it is a nice thing to celebrate an event beforehand.I think the sprit lasts long, rather than the festival itself. When a festival comes we are so engage to celebrate it as if it vanishes within a moment. It is the spirit of celebrating the festival, that lasts forever.

So strange...I was thinking the same thing a week ago. I fully agree with you; we need more of the Christmas spirit throughout the year. Most people are nicer too around Christmastime, whether they participate in it or not.

Yes at least the Christmas spirit turns some not really nice people nice even at this time of year.

Hi. In 4 months it would be Christmas! So, in preparation why not either save or buy things in advance as presents. It would be fun!

I certainly do.But in country, the most important festival is Spring Festival. It represent the very first day of a whole new year and means a lot.I do love these spirits of the festivals.People all feel happy and relaxed.Which has the different atmosphere from the usual.

like you I always look forward to Christmas time,it's more fun when its Christmas and I think people are more kind, the weather is colder, everywhere looks nice because of the decorations, and of course because I have money to buy things when its Christmas:)
