Look around you

Nature - The beauty of nature

Why must there be war. Why must we kill each other. Why be mean to each other. Why cant we enjoy life for what it is. Look up at the sky, look at the lovely clouds. Enjoy the rain, the sound of the rain is music for our souls. Look at the trees with the green foliage or the flowers, the beautiful colors. Why cant people be happy looking at nature, how beautiful it is.....and its free!! What can anyone gain from war? Why must we be so cruel? Isnt it easier to be happy and enjoy what we have and admire the beauty around us?

Humans are not by nature creatures of peace and selflessness. I know some people say we are naturally good but I don't buy that. You have to work at being good. You have to work on not hating those who hate you and not seeking revenge on those who wronged you. It's not easy being a peaceful, peace making person. Humans are creatures of emotional passion. When wronged that passion easily becomes anger. Anger leads to violence. When one is angry or focused on self, the beauties of the natural world are the last concern. Nations are a reflection of the individual human. When anger sweeps the nation, or when a nation is wrong or put in jeopardy, war will follow. As longer as there are humans there will be war.

What you say makes sense of course. Its too bad. War is a waste of time and hurts innocent people. I wonder if our human evolution will ever lead to a peaceful being.

For that to occur survival must be made a much less risky thing. :)

What is missing in Mankind is respect for all life. Until we learn to accept and respect our fellow humans wherever they live in the world we will never be at peace with ourselves or other cultures. Greed must be eliminated and sharing must be for all. We have been given everything we need to survive and thrive. Unfortunately, the power to really change the world is always in the wrong hands!

Your photo is beautiful. I love nature and I would not be able to live in a town with no trees. There is always something new to observe, and I like to do long walks in nature -- preferably with no rain, even if the sound is pleasant --. But nature is very cruel : thousands of animals are eaten alive every day, thousands are dying of hunger. Plants and trees are fighting each other to have a piece of ground. There is no justice in nature, survival of the fittest is the only rule. Famine and misery is the normal state for animals, abundance the exception.

I like that photo also. I have lots of them in my computer and love looking at them as my screen saver. Yes you're right, nature is beautiful but savage also. Its the law of the fittest. I choose to look at the beautiful colors in nature. I wish no animals or human being would suffer or live in misery. Cant hurt to pray for it.

When animals have not enough food the weakest are dying in nature. It is called "self-regulation". About "regulation", and as an extension of this discussion and of a previous one where I spoke of Lombroso, I think you will be interested by this video called "Endgame" if you don't know it : http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xbi6fv_endgame-alex-jones-vostfr-partie-6_news

hi MagicalBubbles thats the problem so many are expecting every thing to happen fast and they do not even bother to look around them at our wonderful lovely world they want to be rich, to have power, to have things then they get things and they still are unhappy as others have more things, better c ars, bigger houses, and soon a lot of people get in debt and lose a lot of those things when theres so much in nature free if we would let it heal us and if we wou ld be content with what we have. instead people will run themselves ragged trying to chase the almighty dollar.Passion, lust, control , power all the things that ultimately do not make people happy is what they want, then wars happen, hate and greed happen, I do not know the answers really.

I'm with you. I don't understand war either. To me war is all about ego and about certain groups of people being all up in everyone else's business. If we just let people be who they are and didn't treat them cruelly or judge people based on their religious beliefs then this would be a much more peaceful world. If everyone just lived by the rule, "Treat others as you would like to be treated yourself" what a wonderful world it would be.

i feel the same too. But some do gain from it and i can only watch and see. Lets us think about right now in our surrounding. We need more people to think of love and happiness and spread it. Now theres is two of us

hi magicbubbles:) I agree with you, nature is so beautiful and needs to be appreciated and take good care of, so many benefits to us, but some are just so greedy destroying nature just to have lots of money, I hope people learn to care more for our environment so we could still experience the beauty of nature more.

There is war because there is difference in opinion. This can be a difference in belief when it comes to religion or other higher beliefs most people give importance to.

It's not in our nature to just look at the sun or smell a flower and be happy. Since the human begin to exist his will for power grew more and more and nowadays we are capable of destroying the whole earth in about 1 day and by that I mean complete destruction with nuclear power. There can't be equality between people, because equality is the worst enemy of freedom and we are free beings so due to this everybody is trying to gain more power, more control and so on. It is natural selection, the stronger one takes it all.

Hi, I do not know what to say about war, an ancestral tradition in defending an area, position, food, money, blablabla .... War is only a game from the leaders, while we are small people who will always be a victim. Peace

The absolute majority of people all over the world are weary of war and peace-loving.They love life and hold their life dear. However the tree may prefer calm, but the wind will not subside. Greed is the root of all evil.

A very famous philosopher in ancient China think that human is evil by nature.I agree with the saying to some extend.Thinking about what happen to our world, you will find we are not live in peace.Maybe now our country seldom break war,but there also many bad things happen everyday. This is a materialistic soceity, lots of people want to seek high official positions and riches. In order to gaim them, people can betray their friend. If we upgrade to country level,we can definitely find there are some rich countries that just want to seize others land and natural resource instead of help poor country.

Your words have reminded me of MJ, he also hates wars.In the wars, lives are killed, and a lot of people become homeless. Some countries start a war to gain benefits to make their countries richer.Anyway I think , there shouldn't be wars.Everyone on earth should live together in harmony.
