Cleanup Day!

Hello mylotters! In where I am, it's already Friday, thus i'm looking forward to a great weekend ahead. I know that there won't be a rest day for me because i'll be staying the whole weekend in the office and still work while my brother takes his weekend off.
So today i have decided to do some cleaning up. My house? No. My bedroom? No. My mylot friends. Long time ago i have turned notification off of some friends because i couldn't relate to their interests. But now i'm gonna check again how many of them are still very active and if i can relate to their interests already. I know it's gonna eat up a lot of my time but i have already conditioned my mind! So i'm ready!

wow, you are so motivated when it comes to mylot!i wish i had your motivation! i just accept everyone and anyone, because the more discussions i have to wade through the better, because i've more chance of finding something that interests me lol!

I used to be like you but when I was new to mylot but when my bb batt drained because of all the incoming messages from mylot mail I turned off all the notifications from mylot as I don't consider them as important as those coming from my clients.
Then I discovered hotmail's sweep so I made a folder specially for mylot only and every time I receive a notification from mylot it automatically goes to that folder without going to m inbox. Thus, it doesn't got to my bb mail anymore!

ohhh i was already ahead of that lol! when i started mylot i had thought about notifications so i actually used my personal email address, that isn't connected to bbmail for my mylot. it's an email address i use for my free stuff websites, and promos and stuff, where as i have an email address thats for like bills, banking etc, and it all goes to my bb :)

These are good points my emails are linked to my smartphone and its annoying when its constanly beeping with pointless discussions.

I appreciate your move to go for cleaning and trimming.

Hi Toni!
I welcome sunny days during the months of winter. Sunny days during summer could put me off. I love cloudy weather, when specially cool breeze blows across and rain comes only when am inside my home/office.

Happy Friday to you too myLotter. Very good to hear that you are going to devote time to respond to myLot friends. That would certainly make the community very excited and happy. Yes, we all get too busy some times that we could not respond to friends even when we have the wish for that.

i could be 3 days late toni, but i believe i wasn't one of those friends you have turned me off. 
there are really times that we think about cleaning our list. some even delete those inactive ones. but i keep them, no one knows, one time i will get interested with their new discussions.

why not, its always good to have a clean out or else as you say you have nothing in common with these people get lots of notifications of discussions you have no interest in. I think having the occasional Mylot clean out sounds likie a good idea.
