The story takes place in a particularly hot summer in the nineties, in a small quiet village called Sotoba. A series of mysterious deaths begin to spread in the village, at the same time when a strange family moves into the long abandoned Kanemasa mansion. Toshio Ozaki, dean of the only hospital in Sotoba, initially suspects an epidemic. But as investigations continue and the deaths begin to pile up, he becomes convinced that they are the work of the undead plaguing the village. This is a great horror/scary/supernatural anime. Anyone watched this anime already? Kindly share your thoughts on this?

Well I haven't really watched the anime but I have heard about it a lot. Says it's an awesome anime but since it's thriller/horror, I think i'll skip it. I'll be getting nightmares for sure if i watch it. Anyway animes are awesome but has been a while since I found one that caught me.

That is actually my first impression. I just watch the opening song and I feel like I'm going to have nightmares about this. However the story is not that scary. Though it will give you a certain aura that the story is too horror to take.

Yes I definitely agree. One of the best suspense anime ever created. There something about this anime that you will be interested to watch the next episode. Though I don't like the bloody portion.

If you are into suspense or supernatural anime, then you will like this one. It is based from a novel and was released as an anime. The anime was finished about June 2011 so it is kinda new. It is interesting, you can try to watch even just the first episode if you will like it.

I watched the whole series and I really loved the anime. you can really feel the thrill flowing on your veins. Have you watched its 2 special episodes already? they also released episodes 20.5 and 21.5 i think last month and that also made some clarifications on what really happened on the regular series. This anime really did a great job and I really hoped for a sequel to this, but the manga had already ended. but anyways, it's a great show to watch!
