" Once in every life " Once in every life, there comes a time that we laugh and we cry. We feel these mixed emotions of gladness and tears. An overwhelming happiness that words cannot express, But, in tears and laughter, a better way to show what our heart feels. Once in every life, we said goodbye. No matter how we tried to keep things or relationship to lasts. Truth is we can never hold everything in the palm of our hands, But, we can only save the moments and memories alive in our minds. Once in every life, we live and die. Old ones fade making a way for new life to come. This is how life begins and how it ends, remembering the past for a new day to lasts, That once in every life we laugh, we cry, we live and die. In this world, only love stays forever as it lives in the heart of every people. Have a good Monday to start our week everyone jaiho® 8/15/2011 3:39pm PT (Monday)

Hi Jai! What a superlative poetry! It is very meaningful, deep and scintillating. Your poem tells about the crux of our life and it tells that life is a journey where we keep facing happy and sad moments. However, we should move ahead. Very well written. Full marks to you.

Hi my friend, Is this poem or song... I gues it is a poem that always tackle our memories in the past whether bad or good. Actually, it is only ONCE in our life may be twice, thrice or more depends of our situation. Like love in our heart might be in first try failed, second failed and more but still remain love forever..

I did, I have my files but unfortunately everything is gone now. My grandparents house was renovated and my dear cousin threw my old writings, my memorablia (my published copies of short stories and all my magazines compilation) I am not sure if you are aware of "LIWAYWAY" magazine in our country...I use to published short stories in that mag way back 1985-89.

She was brain damaged and a gorgeous child so pretty and loving most people did not realize she wold never grow beyond five years in mentality.but we loved her with all our hearts and there was laughter, much laughter, there were tears and we keep our relationship 33 years, yes I still miss him. bu t I have memories "all alone in the moonlight" rember that Scene in the play Cats? the name of the song was Memories.
