Ok Girls here is the picture of the pattern that is my son's project.
If you go back to how much I stitched, you can see I am in the upper left hand corner and coming into part of his tail.
He picked this out of all the patterns on Mystic Stitch at this time.
As I said I am doing it on 22ct evenweave so its a soft material unlike Aida and working it one thread over one.
Have a happy day to all my cross stitch friends!

Girl even with my new lamp and all it has helped, I caught myself the other day holding my frame and the piece I am cross stitching getting higher and higher.
It was Tink my siamese that wants attention. He will keep coming up and rubbing his cheek on mine.
I keep telling him he is such a DOG to be a cat!
Yea I am so looking forward to get back to working on this one.
I don't have much longer to work on the April Birthstone. May get to do the happy dance yet when I finish that one LOL!

I like that picture! I still haven't finished my project yet and I haven't worked on it since before my trip. I might do a little bit on it over the next few days, but I wanted to get through at least some of the old discussions since they are a month old. I would really like to get into that again, but I don't want to give up any of my computer time so I don't know what I'm going to do. Have a great week!!!

I took a picture of my project and was going to post it, but I don't have the right connection so I can't upload it. I guess I should see if I can find someone that can take a picture that can put it on my computer. It is a picture from China and I am told that if I would have finished it there I could have sold it for a pretty penny, especially if had been bigger. I look at it now and it seems small, but it is really not all that small.

While I enjoy the computer, I guess I prefer to see something being made (crafter by heart I guess)
A lot of times I either stitch before my hubby comes home from work or after he goes to bed and watch a movie and a nice few cups of hot tea.
hope you get back to your craft
I would love to see what you are doing since you said I think from China?
Thank you I think of you often.

My first thought was "a white tiger?" but they don't have tigers in the Rockies, so it'd be a cougar, I guess.
Here's a hint: If you find aida too stiff to work with, just scrunch it up a few times.

There's two Michaels here, one at each end of the city. But neither one has a very extensive cross-stitch section.

Thanks for the tip Barb. Do you have a Michaels around where you live?
Ours is getting rid of a lot of cross stitch stuff.
My biggest fear is the loss of fabric and floss.
Anyway reason I asked is at our Michaels all Charles Craft Aida cloth in all counts are on sale for $7.99. It is a yellow tag does not say sale but when its 30x36 inches I am thinking that is a sale and maybe clearance!
I am going Wednesday to get what I want.
As far as the piece I am working on I will be glad to get back to it.
I am really tired of this April birthstone.
But want it done and out of the way and looking forward to a new piece.
I think I am gonna work on 3 pieces at once. I know...But even with a husband he is not much company (falls asleep in front of the TV holding the remote) So I have the place to myself to do as I please. Thank God he works yet. Then he might get under my feet!
