our body tissues neen sufficient flow of oxygen it is not the heart or lungs alone but all parts of the body need the constant flow of oxygen. It has been a healthy habit to practice constantly abdominal breathing. This belly breathing animates to establish a calm disposition within by neutralizing the negative effects breeded by the stress accumulated in the mind. Man can practice the breathing excerise in a very natural way. He can just lie on his back and just keep some object on his stomach and begin to inhale the air deeper and deeper but without causing strain. The he should let the air out slowly and deeply until the abdomen ftattens fully. The object should fall off. . The ait shild circulate from the upper chest to the lower part of the lungs so that one should expand the chest cavity wide and contract the chest and flatten the stimach to put out the air fully and gently. We should be assures that the oxygen flows all over our body. The conscious breathing will help to forget our contaminated thoughts and it purifies not the lungs and heart alone but the brain and all the negative thoughts. The man who breaths consciously and slowly enjoys that inner calm, his body and mind become suble and light. He enjoys peace. Then the intuitive power begins to transform his personality gradually into positive success.

There are these three simple pranayams that can take care of one's needs if done every single day. It hardly takes 10 minutes but the effect is great.

Thanks for the response. Are you please will to share those three simple pranayamas ? Maharshi Yoganada advises saying that Pranayama shold be done under a Master's gidance. The excercises stimulated by curiosity or an urge to find out immediate results would cause into harmful reactions. But the simple and rhythmic breathing excercise can be done by anyone without causing strain and pain

I did have a guru and you are right one should not practice yoga without the guidance of a guru. I suggest you do likewise.
