Are you a brisk walker?

Walking is a good exercise for the heart. A regular walk of half an hour will keep you as fit as a fiddle. Experts say that there is a relation between the speed of your walk and the longevity. The more you are faster, the more you are healthy. This doesn’t mean if you are in a condition that you cannot walk fast, you should forcibly walk fast. Be aware of your physical condition and limits and act accordingly.

I agree with you. Brisk walking is very healthy for the body. This is one of the best exercises next to swimming. I wake up early in the morning and do an hour of brisk walking around the park. The early morning air is so fresh which makes it even more healthier. I made this a routine since most of my time is spent in front of the computer. Brisk walking indeed exercises the heart muscles because it encourages it to pump faster.

I do enjoy going for a brisk walker. It's something that I usually like doing. It's good exercise and relaxing.

I would agree with that! But distance matters too. I found that a regular 10 kilometer walk did lose pounds very quickly. That's 5 kilometers there, and 5 back. Although you have to actually go somewhere with a purpose. Just walking with no destination in mind or distinct reason will result in failure. Speed means keeping on time. You must arrive at the time you set and never get late. All psychological stuff!

I have a little dress business on eBay, so I have to make regular trips to the post office to send out my sales to customers. I go there about twice a week, and I don't make any effort to walk fast, but it is nice to get out and get a breath of fresh air, especially if it has been a dull week with no plans. I've never been one to play sports or do much of anything, so walking is a good form of exercise for me.

Yup, I do brisk walk, in fact I walk really fast especially when I am on a hurry. I also read a few articles regarding the health benefits of walking because we cannot deny the fact that running and jogging is not everyone or rather it has cons such as the effect of the impact on your foot and legs.
