I brought my first cellphone at the age of 50 now at 54 I'm giving up my second cellphone for good. I don't like it at all because it gives me alot of pain in my ear and above my ear on the side of my head. I'm opting to just get a house phone and live without a cellphone. After all I lived without for 50 years whats another 30 or 40 years. I'm just so afraid that the radiation from the phone is causing me the pain which could develop into sometype of brain tumor or brain cancer.

Cellphone - My Cellphone
Cellphone has become a necessity this days although some convert it into luxury because they'd buy the latest and the most expensive cellphone they could ever afford. But to me, cellphone is a necessity especially if I'd go out. This is my way of still getting in touch with my family and friends even while on the road. Other than that I have no more interests on other features of cellphone.

Yes it is very true.. Cellphone becomes part of our lives. It is because it is the easiest way to reach other person or your love ones. I have my phone when I was high school. During that time cellphone becomes popular in our community I guess. It is a very basic phone a call and text feature only. Well during that time it is very good. I have different friends from other places and communicate to them easily. I guess overall, cellphone is very important in my life.

Cellular phones are necessities right now. You can't really leave the house without first checking if it's in your pocket or not. But sometimes it's also very distracting. When you try to do your work, but sometimes you just can't without looking at your phone or not. I had my first cellphone when I was 11. I was still in grade 5 and had it always in my bag. My mom used to call me during break time and asked me how I was. Cellphones were very simple then, Big antennas, Monochrome screens, and just SMS and calls. There were very few phones that had built-in games, like the Nokia 5110 with SNAKE! Man, those were good times. Now, I own a Blackberry Bold 9700, and I can't go out of the house without it. It's my Personal Digital Assistant as well, which also let's me connect to the Web 24/7.

Hi zhawee, my cell phone is extremely important when I'm not together with loved ones. It seems like losing of connection if my cell phone is not with me or it runs out of battery. Therefor I always have to make sure that it has enough battery to let me to keep close contact with my loved ones. I will get the battery fully charged in time before it's exhausted totally. I don't miss to bring along the charger as well before leave for vacation or outstation Have a nice day and happy posting

The cellphone is quite important for me. When I go out, be sure I will remember to bring the keys, cellphone and wallet. If I forget to bring my cellphone, I will feel like missing many important calls and SMS and I will be upset for a whole day. And the cellphone is not only a communication way for me, it also gives me entertainment. I like to watch movies whenever I have free time. And I often surf the net by my cellphone, too. I love China

Yes, I do agree, cellphone is becoming a pretty necessity these days, to keep in touch with family members and with the work place. I have been traveling quite often on my business trips in my country and overseas, and I would carry along my cellphone and my laptop computer every time. They are absolute necessities to keep in touch from wherever I get to.

I'm afraid the cellphone has become a necessity for me. It is very handy being a mobile phone that it is, it can do so many things. It is my alarm clock, radio, camera, recorder, modem, etc. It is more than just a mere communication device. I have experienced accidentally leaving my phone behind at home and missed calls and messages but it's ok. Just a reminder that we should'nt be too dependent on technology.

The cellphone is really important! It can safe your life! You can call if there is an incident, sick person, car crash. I live in apartment building so sometimes i forgot my keys and i can call. When you have to wait somewhere you can play on the games in the phone, i have 4' touchscreen and wi-fi so i can go in internet and have fun there. Yes i can't go out without my cellphone :)

Not so much, I was more into it when I was only dating, now only when I go out and for example, me and hubby lose each other so I'll need to find him.

I agree with what you said. But mobile phones are very useful to us.

hi:) Owning a unit phone as helped to make life a small more available for all of us. If you come about to be upset about a relations or a friend, you can only collect up your mobile phone and call them instantly, anyplace you may be,but those people who used their cellphone just to hurt people, we can't do anything about their wrong doings,it's them anyway who will have their bad karma at the end.

Hello zhawee and welcome to myLot. I just cut my cell phone off because I don't use it very much and I have a ground line. No sense having both. I got along for many years with out a cell phone and only had it for about three years. I found it just too expensive. If I did a lot of driving or had a business then I could see having one.

Yes people can cheat easier with a cell phone but I would have to say the Internet is one of the easiest ways to cheat. There are just way to many temptations on the Internet like dating sites and Facebook. But I like my cell phone. I have children so when I am on the road and something happens I can call for help. Cell phones are great for emergency use as well as if power goes out and you only have a cordless phone. Or if you are traveling and you get lost you can call and explain where you are and what you drove past. I feel lost without my cell phone. It is also convient when your at the grocery store and you need to call and see if anyone needs anything or if someone forgot something they can call you to pick it up.

Hi, My cellphone is very important to me.It is my prized possession.I cannot go out of my house without it.Sometimes I even dream that I am attending calls when actually I am sleeping!I think I am addicted to my cellphone though it is not a good thing as the radiation emitted by any device is not good for health.

I just renewed the credit in my cellphone since it only lasts for one year. I was surprised to find that the minimum amount that I entered last year was still there. I hadn't spent a cent! That must tell you how important the phone is to me!

If I left my cellphone on my house, just for one day. Then, there must be numbers of unreplied message and number of misscall/unreplied phone there. I use my cellphone a lot to communicate with my friend, and sometimes to communicate with my "business partner" Also, I am a phone credit seller, and my friend used to buy it from me. Usually, they were just texting me if they need one. The payment is later, when I met them on college or so. So I think it is really important
