We can really learn from our teachers

When my teacher says something interesting, even if it doesn't necessarily have a connection to the lesson, I write it down. Sometimes, our teachers would relay to us important lessons in life which are not connected to the lesson, and I would scribble it down on a piece of paper. I even have a collection of their "words of wisdom". I also post those statements in Facebook.

i know there was this teacher who used to tell us about his life it was boring but some students wrote it down any way but sometimes it is not boring and very interesting and yes you can learn so much from them most of the times

There are really some teachers who would rather talk about their life experiences than teach the subject matter. But, its good that we still learn from them.

Actually, I'm quite wondering why it is very easy for me to pick up the lessons in life taught by our teachers, but not the main lesson. Maybe, students are attentive during that particular time because we miss "story telling" when we were children.

So, they become attentive because they know that they can learn something from it? You said you research further about the thing the teacher says, I think you've been a "good" student.

I understand.. but this is what I mean.. because I catch something a 'teacher' says and I learn from it.. ill otherwise research further.. Maybe you have a point about the story telling, but to be honest I think its whether the student feels they have something to gain from that knowledge..

Yes, many times in life these Words of Wisdom can often be words to live by and will help encourage us as days go by. There are often times in my life where I know that things I have learned are from teachers, or people higher than me, as well as others around the world and many have helped shape me in who I am yet today.
