I am fascinated by the stories of some famous stars who grew up without a parent. They look like they don’t have any problem at all, but deep inside they are suffering because they grew up without a parent. I admire them, because despite the hurt, they were able to battle it nicely and become successful. Other people would have been drug addicts or went wayward because of that, but these stars proved that one can be successful in life without a parent . But I know, deep inside they still empty. Some of them are : Angelica Panganiban, Kim Chu , Marianne Rivera and Julia Montes. I salute them for using their pain as a motivation to be successful in life!

Hello Simplyd, I believe Angelica was an adopted daughter but later she was able to meet up with her dad in the end, just don't know when was that and what show. i wish you could hve put a bit summary as to why they didnt have their parents in the first place. maybe if we had those pain then we can be successful too, but not every one can grow as they did. have a nice day .

Oh yes, i have seen that about Angelica. I think it was painful for her to go through that, to hear that your are an adopted daughter , only to prove that it's true. It's a really heart warming story. But i think, in one way or another she was pained that she wasn't told about it earlier. She could have known her father earlier too. I am sorry Letran, that i wasn't able to summarize why they didn't have their parents, because i would get them all mixed up! Memory gap!

I can relate to those people as i've lost mine when i was 13. 3 days to be exact after my 13th birthday my parents were abducted and murdered. I'm the youngest amongst the 5 children and our eldest was 19 at that time. Many people thought that we would go astray and squander our parents' hard earned money. Well, we have proven them wrong as we were able to save it up, graduate in good universities, became professionals and took care of all the properties our parents left us without a single centavo wasted. That's why many people are jealous of what we have as they've expected us to go down instead, we rose up and proved to them that our parents raised us well and taught us how to earn money and not squander.

What is amazing with those actors and actresses who grew up without a parent or both parents, is they manage to soar high despite the lacking aspect of their life. It motivated them to do good in life. Most of all, they still love the parent who abandoned them.
