FIFA was asked to form an independent team to investigate allegations of corruption Anti-corruption organization Transparency International said FIFA should form an independent team to investigate allegations of corruption in order to hit a crisis of confidence that FIFA could be ended. Transparency International said an independent team should consist of football supporters, sponsors, clubs, and journalists. "FIFA have said they want to reform. But cases of bribery makes public confidence in the FIFA at their lowest," said Sylvia Schenk of Transparency International told the Reuters news agency. "Willingness to cooperate with other parties and give them access to the investigation will show that FIFA wanted to change. And that change must start now," he said. The call came after FIFA president Sepp Blatter asked for input Transparency International after emerging cases of alleged bribery and vote buying in the FIFA presidential election. inPut from Transparency International includes suggestions for FIFA to announce publicly the financial statements, including bonuses and salary administrators. During this FIFA liability extended only to 208 members. Transparency International believes such accountability mechanisms have not been deemed sufficient. The organization also asked FIFA to protect officials who disclose cases, limiting the tenure committee, and requiring all participants to support the reform of the World Cup FIFA. FIFA rocked by a corruption scandal last year. Two members of the executive was suspended for allegedly selling their right to vote in the election of the host 2018 and 2022. Last month the Asian Football Confederation president Mohammed Bin Hammam banned in active football for life for allegedly trying to buy votes in the FIFA presidential election in June. Another Board FIFA, Jack Warner, to resign for alleged involvement in the case. Bin Hammam insists he is innocent.. What do you think about FIFA and corruption?? do you think Bin Hammam is guilty or innocent??

If FIFA want to regain public confidence back, and seriously want to clear its good name from the perceived corruption and alleged kick back scandle, it should allow and support the proposal to have an independent and transparent investigation carry out by outsiders to look into the bribery and corruption allegation. If it is a flase allegation, then i am sure no harm will come out from the investigation, on the other hand, if it is true, then the wrong doers can be purged from the elite official to prevent further damage from ruining the organization. It is a win-win situation for investigation to move forward.
