It seems like every time I watch television there is someone complaining about the paparazzi. Do you think they are wrong for taking pictures of famous people and celebrities? Or do you think it is just comes with the career of being a celebrity? Do you think certain celebrities ask for it and others stay away? Or do you think the the paparazzi just follow the famous celebrities?

As much as I can understand your point, it is their job to try to get as much information about celebrities as possible. Newspapers and magazines pay for what information of the paparazzi get. It's really how they make their living. Personally, I don't really think that celebrities ask to be followed by the paparazzi, or anything like that. It's not something that anyone would ask for. At least, I wouldn't really imagine so. I don't think that it doesn't necessarily make it right to always do some of the things that they do, but at the end of the day, it's their job. Plus, some people are really interested in find out what these celebrities are doing.

Paparazzi is like synonymous to stalkers. I mean camping out a celebrity's home, digging around the garbage bins, looking in their windows, etc. - that's very stalkerish.

Just because someone is a reporter or photographer does not give them the right to be rude and obnoxious, not respecting others. Paparazzi are wrong. Besides, the celebs already get too much attention.

I think that when the person started a celebrity career (like actor, singer...), she wants that this happen to her, but after a while, this can be pretty boring. I mean, after a time, it's not nice to have someone following you and taking pictures of everything that you do. But, I don't think that paparazzis are wrong, they are just doing their jobs. And they have their jobs because celebrities news sells a lot. If the person don't want to be follow, move to another country (like George Clooney).

I guess if you put yourself on the celebrities shoes you'd be mad as well for them invading your privacy. However, celebrities should also understand that they chose this life, it wasn't chosen for them - they wanted it. The Paparazzi is just doing their own thing and the Celebrities are also doing their thing - which is to attract the public eye. The paparazzi is part of the public eye so I guess both of them are just doing what they think is right.

The paparazzi are in a vicious cycle. Their earnings depends on the value of their pictures, a boring picture would not sell and magazines raise up the ante to get better, juicy pictures. That is why the paparazzi are going to extreme length to get pictures of celebrity, to get more money. A vicious cycle.

To take photos of famous people is fine. To stalk them is wrong. When a person is having a dinner with friends and the paparazzi are buzzing around snapping photos is too much. I am a free lance photographer and do some news photos of accident scenes, fires and disasters. I was at a small plane crash and the were going to take the body out and the police asked me not to take photos of that and I respect that. ON the other hand I have been allowed to get closer at other events because I do respect their requests. I think the paparazzi needs to show a little common sense and respect towards people. Often times the paparazzi are pushing and shoving other people to get their shot or even knock people out of the way who are trying to take a personal photo for a memento.

Just like a lot of things in life it is a matter of balance. In my opinion it is part of a celebrity’s lot and the paparazzi make their living from obtaining pictures of the famous but there are moral boundaries as far as to how much these photographers infringe in a person’s life. One can be paparazzi, make money with long range lenses and maintain a certain moral standing and regard for others.

For the paparazzi it is all about making money, they know that the are public members out there who are obsessed with celebrities and want to know what they are up to. These members of the public will be willing to pay cash to get as much juicy information about their favourite celebraties as they can.So celebraties should know that paparazzi will always follow them because they (celebraties) are a public entity. It comes with the territory

hi:) I think paparazzi's are only doing their job, and for the celebrity they need to accept that's it's a part of being famous, paparazzi's only doing their job, without the paparazzi that constantly throwing cameras in their faces,we wouldn't have too much to talk about.it it's a big help on their careers.

I think paparazzi should respect the celebrities's privacy, there is a time when someone doesnt like to be exposed or to be followed. I understand that paparazzi is a job and they need to find news to make them living but I hope they work in manner because we know some paparazzi has caused trouble to celebrity such as Lady Diana's life. If only the paparazzi did not stalked her she would not lose her life.

I think paparazzi has some right to take pictures and follow the famous because those people put themselves in the center of attention but I don't think they should be so invasive becasue I feel like a lot of gossip starts that way and all people should have the rights to some privacy, even if they're famous.

I think that with the celebrity life, paparazzi and scandals are sure to come along too, so they shouldn't be "complaining" too much about it because in a sense, they signed up for it. However, I also believe that paparazzi sometimes take it too far as to what they would do for the money they receive for the pictures and new they get. But we also have to remember that taking pictures, digging up information, etc. is their job. They might be doing it to support a family and whatnot. In the end though, I still think that paparazzi should have limits as to what they do.

The paparazzi's job is to dig out more and more news and scandals from the celebrities. If these newspaper won't sell well, then the paparazzi will lose their jobs. Actually many people want to learn more celebrities' lives and therefore these newspaper and magazines can be survived. So we can't really complain about the paparazzi since they bother others' personal lives. I love China
