During my college days I really don't wear make ups for I find it really heavy on my face. Except for events, i have to use make up to look better. As I was working in a company as a front office staff I used make up, like blush on and super red lipstick and people will keep staring at me and even told me "what a read lips you got". I was totally annoyed. And choose not to wear that super red lipstick. Now, i prefer not using anything aside from my day cream. How about you are you fond of using make up?

Well, For a girl wearing a make-up most of the time became a necessity already. Most women wear make-ups in order to look good and FEEL GOOD with theirselves. For me, I am not really fond of women wearing make-ups especially those women who wears make-up that to a point they look like hookers. Maybe in moderation and if that women is REALLY aware on what she puts on in her face, women would really look good and it would be really pleasing on the eyes.

I'm not that fond of using make up. I prefer wearing a natural looking make up. I just put face powder, blush on and a lip tint and that is enough with me. It also depends on the place, occasion, event, time and many instances. When I'm in the mood, I wear eyeliner, mascara, blush on, lipstick and wear my contact lenses. When I hang out with my friends, I wear much more make up, dark eyeshadows, eyeliner, bronzer and pale lips and my contact lenses again and I'm ready to go. I remember when I went to a party. My admirer told me that I'm pretty. I'm wearing make up and contact lenses that time. The party is not yet over when I decided to go back to our house go there back again. I washed my faced, removed my make up and put some powder on. Only powder, plain white powder. Then when I got there, my admirer was stunned. He said that I look prettier without make up and it did flattered me. Yes, some people would say that I look pretty with my make up on then when they see me washed my face they would say that I look prettier. Haha I'm so confused. But anyway, I would still go for no make up. The more natural the look is, the prettier it is.

Hi nurseclare, I put up light make up when I acted in a couple of TV series and one movie. What I saw is that female platers needed to wear heavier make ups than male counterpart. Putting make when it is necessary is ok but I know some women who do it without any cause. Might be just to be better looked. Funny people....

Same like you, for most of the time, i prefer to have my natural looks with me. I am happy and satisfied with the way i look. Even my hubby happy with my natural look, so i don't have to wear make-up everyday. But, i always wear lipstick when i am out from my home. Even when i was still working before, i also prefer to wear a light make-up and a lipstick. I will only use heavy make-up when i am attending some functions or special events.

Thanks. And another thing is, i have a quite sensitive skin, so light make-up seems fit perfectly for me. Heavy make-up will cause my skin greasy and sensitive. That's why, i seldom use it.

Your husband seems so supportive, that's great! You're so lucky to have him. Wearing a light make up looks lot better, it reveals your glowy skin.

Actually, I have nothing against those women wearing make ups. Actually if career also have to consider in your decision or in need of wearing make ups. But, well., wearing too much make ups usually especially to those have sensitive skins usually have a negative effect. But atleast, you managed not to wear make up most of the time, you must have a good skin or feature. For nowadays, most women depends on makes up for them to look good. So probably, you just have to ask for a good opinion on what and what to avoid when it comes to make up. For your career it sometimes really have to have it. So better consult the experts. Happy mylotting.

definitely that's true, I have a sister who used to wear wake ups, but when people saw her in her natural way without make ups, they commented the same that she looks younger rather than having make ups on. Isn't that good? You don't need to use any make up if you have a natural beauty to show off. But as always, make ups enhances what people have already had, but maybe sometimes will do good.

I am not a fan of make up at all. I tell my girl friend that she does not need any. You also do not need to wear make up. I think natural beauty is more beautiful then having tons of make up on. Stay natural.

Some ladies, like my girlfriend, are already very pretty without makeup, while others require wearing it to make themselves more appealing or to keep their reputation.

I do wear make up and depending on where I go and if I was working. I like the more natural look and not the bright colors. There are some colors that are preferable for the evening as opposed to the daytime look.

Hi clare! I seldom wear make-up. I am usually with talc powder and lip-gloss when I go out. I wear make-up when I'm going for a party, meeting up with someone I haven't seen for a while (hehehe....) and only when I feel like it, which is rarely.hahahah!!

Like you I never wore make up in college except for that brown mauve revlon lipstick that was a fad in 95! But after I ragout of that lipstick I never bought again. I rarely wear make up and when I do I use mineral make up. Though they're a bit expensive it's worth it because I don't feel like I'm wearing anything on my skin!

Mineral based make ups are everywhere. Mac has their own mineral based make up line and so are the rest of the popular brands. Even Maybelline has. Barenaturals are popular these days and they are all mineral based. The first time i have tried mineral based foundation was 5 years ago and it was light as a feather. It's like the make up has been air brushed.

I use make up everyday even if it's only for go to the small market across the street. I can't really leave my house without some foundation and a blush. Usually, I use a liquid foundation, powder foundation, blush and a mascara. Nothing too strong, because I want that looks natural.

i don't wear make up. i just don't like it, i don't really know why. it just doesn't feel right for me, so i think i took the view, a long time ago, that if a man only liked me when i wore make up then he didn't like the real me, and i wanted someone who liked the real me. i know some people like wearning it, but i just can't.

I can't say that I'm a huge fan of make-up. I don't really wear make-up a lot. I might wear some make-up on special occasions, once in a while, but it really does not happen very often.

I prefer to go au natural when it comes to using foundation. I think that it feels heavy and is too time consuming when it comes to touching up. I have fair skin, so I try to not use super bright lip glosses, and do not wear lip glosses everyday. I usually use it for special days. Sometimes I will wear a powder bronzer, but not everyday. I do wear mascara to enhance my lashes and eye color and I do use a moistuizer daily. I look at it as people should accept me for who I am without my make-up. If they don't, then they are not worth my time.

Moisturizing everyday make the skin more beautiful. Having fair skin is a plus to look more beautiful even without make up. Yes, those people who won't accept you for who you are doesn't worth your time at all. have a nice day.

I am a guy, so I never use make up on my face. Actually, I would prefer to see a female co - worker of mine to apply light make up on their faces. Too much might show them to be pretentious, or too fake. I am not insulting anyone here, it was just my basic personal feeling. I hope that you all understand.

I personally understand your point of view. Having a heavy make up will make a women look fake and trying hard. But some women looks great having heavy make up. i think it depends upon the shade used.

I also don't wear make up when I was in college. I think it is not needed for a student to wear all those make up during classes. I do wear make for events and special reports though. After college. I started to have interest on make up and those things. I started reading and even watching video tutorials. I love make ups now and I do wear make up every now and then even if I am at home. As a wife, I always want to look pretty for my husband, sometimes I surprise him with a romantic candle light dinner when he comes home and I wear a nice dress and make up too. When I meet friends or I visit a relative, I also wear make up, I don't wear dark make up so it looks natural. They also are surprised when they see me. But I love make up now.

I'm also really not fond of wearing makeup. I feel like so many people nowadays don't use makeup for enhancements, but transformations. People shouldn't judge others based on their beauty, especially because makeup is so prominent and common nowadays. I rarely ever use makeup. Once in a while, for formal events, I might put on just a little, and it's not even really noticeable then.

You're right and many people looks really transformed when their make up is on. Some women can't go out without make up.
