Is there such a law here in our country against noise pollution? Is there anything we can do with to noisy and selfish neighbours with all their infernal racketing from night till the morning dawn???

I think there is. I saw in the news last month that a city here in NCR that will inhibit of using big karaoke speakers since it could cause a lot of noise. If you are living inside a subdivision, you could call the guards regarding you neighbor's noise or better yet just confront them by yourself. We had this experience on my uncle's place at Valenzuela where they had a couple of drunk neighbors, they were shouting and breaking the bottles. So what my uncle did was to call the barangay tanod but the drunk men were so strong that they cannot do anything so they had no choice but to call the police and arrest them. And not only neighbors, but also PUV drivers who uses there horns every time they would like to pick passengers along the road. Drivers nowadays doesn't bother to follow signs regarding the no blowing of horns policy in some public places like in front of the church, hospitals, schools, parks, etc. I hope our government would also do something about this problem. And also the motorcycles with customized mufflers, I really hate those.

I think there is but you know how Filipinos are, we'd rather complain about our neighbors noise to a fellow neighbor and not to the proper authorities so in the end it will just end up up like you're spreading gossip . The best remedy really is to call up the barangay hall and let the tanods do their job. You can do it and be anonymous not unless you're brave enough to confront them which is not a good idea. Or better yet, throw a can at them from a distance but better make sure that they won't know where the can is coming from otherwise there's going to be trouble.

Yes there is under the law on property in the Civil Code! The problem is who would wanna file a civil case, spend lots of money on it to hire a lawyer, waste the time of the judge who would probably delay the case coz there are so many cases clogging the docket of the courts!

I think there is a law citing about "public disturbance" in RP. I am not too sure though if such is implemented here in this country. It wasn't such a popular case but I heard too a lot of complaints about noisy neighbors. I for one had them way back at my home town and it's really annoying. They are a bunch of insensitive creeps.

I'm not really sure but sometimes, a city or a barangay ordinance is in place against such disturbance. What I usually do with noisy neighbours is I confront them, if they still go at it, I'd take it to the Barangay. If I am a bit frustrated, I'd fight fire with fire and give them a taste of their own medicine, noisy neighbors sleep in the morning, that's when I get noisy - this is just me, I don't suggest doing this act. lol
