Recently one of our neighbor was suffering from lungs problem. He is a chain smoker. Doctors told him to quit smoking. But the next day I saw him smoking in his room. I just asked him why don't you quit smoking? he replied "Quitting smoking is very easy. I can do that any day. Last year I stopped smoking five times but started six times. it's so easy." I was amazed at his reply. I asked him "Don't you know how much money you waste for cigarettes and you lit one after another." Then he replied "No.No. I just save money. I don't have to buy any match sticks." I just stopped and realized that it is very hard to convince a chain smoker. N.B. smoking is injurious to health.

I can not see how people think it is easy to quit smoking.I am now 40 and i have tried to quit a few times and then when i have quit for a few weeks my skin as well as other health problems got worse. As soon i started smoking again my health improved a bit and so did my skin. The hospital even said that things went down hill when i stopped smoking, so i wont be doing that again, as i looked like a burns patient. Also you can not get people to stop smoking, as it has to be their will power that has to help them and not yours.

Quiting is not easy but I did it a few years back and it was the best thing I ever did. Love the N.B. comment as all smokers don't know that

Take a bow. You are an example. If you can do that, anybody can do that. I really like that spirit. You will feel better when you quit smoking. Living a healthy life is not a bad thing. Happy myLotting.

Yep and I quit with willpower alone, smoking is all in the mind and I have saved myself a small fortune and my breathing and sense of smell are second to none

Oh, I know what you mean. I'm a smoker. Have stopped so many times in my life. Some years. Some months. Sometimes I stopped for just a week. It's really hard. I know I should stop though. :(
