Diets are bad. Eat when you're hungry, when you're full stop eating, and when you aren't hungry don't eat.

Usually what breaks a person from their diet is when they believe they have overeaten or consumed the wrong types of foods and they decide to give up the diet all together. But the truth is that starving yourself in the form of dieting can lead to decreased levels of leptin in your body. Leptin is responsible for regulating metabolism and appetite. When leptin levels drop you see a drop in metabolic levels and increased fat storage. Straying from your diet once in awhile can actually bring back those levels of leptin to keep your metabolism in good working order. So when you have a diet crash day. Get right back on the diet afterwards and you may be surprised with the results. =)
