Why stay when you daydream during the day time the eye is always open wide? and why you look closely and always focused on one point?

The eyes are open, because you can not sleep. The exact look and concentrating on one point for me is not so. I rather think the view is directed inward and what's going on around you disappears into the background.

Yes, those sort of daydreams frighten me a little. Ater "waking up", I always think, "What was I looking at, and for howlong?". Then what must I have looked like to someone watching? Then just after that embarrassing moment has passed, I've forgotten what I was dreaming about!
