How Do You Feel About MyLot, and Is There Anything You Haven't Figured Out Yet?

MyLot is a wonderful, fun, and caring community. I am very glad to a part of it.
Sure, myLot has it's spammers, neggers, and other abusive members... but the myLot community and admin do everything they can to keep them away.
(Neggers = those who neg others for no good reason or the wrong reasons, which decreases and ruins others rating.) Thought I should clarify that word. 
MyLot is almost like another world to me. Where I can come to just hang out, discuss topics of interest with others, chat with friends, and more!
How do you feel about myLot, and what do you like best? Are there things that you don't know about myLot that you would like to know? Is there anything you can't quite figure out? I am sure if you let all of us myLotters know what you are wondering about, we can help. I know I am more than happy to help out my fellow myLotters.

Hello Angelee,
Even i am also happy to be attached with MYLOT i always think why i did not join it before why i wasted my time on other sites.
What i like most about this site is people from different corners of the globe sit together on a table and discuss something to find out the solution to help friends.Its good to share my emotions here as i feel its hard to discuss it with offline friends sometimes but find the same thing much easier to discuss here on MYLOT

That's great! I am so glad you enjoy myLot!
I too like the fact that people from all over the world are able to come together to discuss topics, and help each other with any issues they may have. MyLot is full of kind and caring people that love to discuss topics and help others! 
...and I also agree that some things are easier to discuss here on myLot rather than with personal friends and family. Plus, you get opinions and advice from many different people, so you get a variety in your discussion.

I haven't figured out why there are so many people spending so much time on sites like Facebook instead of registering here and joining in the fun
All the other stuff that youmention is part and parcel of myLot. Always has been and always will be and no use wasting time trying to figure it out

I have a FaceBook account, but I only use it because it is the only way to keep in touch with most of my friends and family that I know personally.
I come to myLot to have fun, make new friends from all around, and earn some extra cash while participating.
I agree, I really doubt that abusive behavior will ever completely stop. However, it would be nice if someone could think of a way to help make it less effective. Perhaps something like this: If someone comes on and they have negged someone and ruined their rating, then once they are found out and banned... all the damage they done will be automatically erased just like their account. I am not sure if that would be easy to do, or even possible. It's just an idea.

I agree that the damage should be rectified but I can only guess that the reason for not doing so is what you suggest, a complicated procedure. Nahg on in there and things will rectify themselves. They did for me, even though after over two years

Yes, I do believe that is the main reason myLot admins have not done anything like I suggested. It's probably very complicated to do, and I completely understand that.
If it was easy to do, I have no doubt that admin would get it done. They are very good with keeping the site clean, fun, and of course up and running! So, it's definitely not because they just don't want to do it or anything like that.

You know Angelee, I feel on mylot I have better friends here and some as close as family than I have on FB..But you know, I gotta keep in touch with my blood relatives and since I have no cell phone, FB is it..But as I said earlier, I'd never want my family here. Not only would I get into flaming wars, but both our ratings would probably drop..FAST...lol

hi angelee grr just lost my whole response.I have been here long enough to know most all about mylot.but where do my responses
and comments and now a discussion go to when they are zapped away before we can post them? anyone have a theory? maybe they ate with the lost socks in a never never land where the fairies use the so cks for making puppet dolls for the fairy children. okay so I am imagining things. but really what happens to our zapped posts?

I have been on mylot for a few years now and I really like it. I also pretty much have it all figured out. I also know I will get fair pay for amount of work. I like it just the way it is and I would not change a thing about it. Sure it can take a lot of time to be able to make payout every month, but I know that if I put in the work I will be paid for it.

I love Mylot, as there are always things to chat about, as well as people that will help you out if you are unsure of any thing.This is the best site to get advice on loads of different things.There are always people on here and i have made some great friends while being on here.

It is wonderful to see you getting active in Mylot again, Angelee. Indeed, Mylot is a great place to meet people from around the world. Even we can chat almost anything without any limit. I love Mylot. I like the people here for I learn a lot from them. I guess majority of the people here are intelligent and experienced. I have not seen or encountered any other sites like this and I am happy and proud to be an active member of this site.

I've come to accept all the intricacies of being here in myLot. I know that there are a lot of different kind of people here, and you can never please everybody.
As far as things-I-haven't-figured-out is concerned, the only thing I don't know is where most old-time lotters go. There's a few regular fixtures here, that I haven't seen in a while. I could only hope that the reason they are not as active, is that they are out there enjoying their lives.
